If you ever want to freak people out just say in a elevated voice "Do you know who I am? I am the arm and I sound like this woo wooo wooo woooo" I do works every time.
The first secret I found is that if you hold the record over the right source of light, the red actually becomes like the fire color...much nicer! I'm sure it's not a coincidence!
Hey TJR, I just picked up the vinyl to the original series that was released just before this and both side A and B have messages on them too. Side A: " Harry I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange." Side B "This must be where pies go when they die." And Side A of the vinyl for The Return (or season 3) has the symbol of the ring on it.
i thought FWWM was a classic when it first came out. I saw it 14 times in the theater. Critics don't know half as much as they think. Listen to the sounds.
Hey TJR . I just discovered or it seems to me like the sounds coming from the gramophone at the beginnign of S3E01 are a voice, perhaps Cooper's (Richard's) voice asking "what year is this?" But there's a first word or sound I can't figure out yet, then there's a very brief pause and then I could swear I can hear "What year is this?". Do you think there's a way to clean up that low-fi processed sound coming from the gramophone in order to see if we can find out what it says? I've seen some videos where people slow down the sounds but I don't think it's a matter of speed but of frequencies instead. I would love to clean the heavy low-fi process from the sound to obtain a cleaner version. Would need to somehow revert what a gramaphone does to a voice.
On the vinyl of Tangerine Dream's Out Of This World compilation, the following messages are inscribed in each side of the vinyl - Side One: Love You, Ed!, Side Two: Thanks Bianca!, Side Three: Berlin Old School, Side Four: Zodiac Free Arts Forever. All four of these messages have something to do with TD and their history. Ed is TD's founder Edgar Froese who sadly passed away in 2015. Bianca is Edgar's widow. Berlin School is sometimes what the style of TDs music is referred as. The Zodiac Free Arts Club is the place where TD played some of their earliest gigs. The Eagles also have hidden messages on their vinyl's. I can't remember them all but I do remember on Hotel California, one side says "VOL is five piece live" meaning that the backing track for Victim Of Love was done completely live in the studio.
Wow. That's cool to find out about....I have never looked at a vinyl copy of Hotel California..Next time I see one at a used record store, I am going to have to look for it.
I do know that in *some* of Radioheads "Kid A" CD release there was a secret book *inside* the CD box (behind the disc holding part) - You have to break apart the box to find it.
Great secret messages. Very mysterious and Peaky. I once head a renegade soundwave record that had two messages on it: a side: Never eat anything bigger than your head b side: there's a rhino loose in the city :)
have to agree, Fire Walk With Me is the soundtrack i keep coming back to. it's great because it compliments the film perfectly but it also stands alone as a terrific front-to-back album in its own right... my second favorite would be Lost Highway
Message no.2 is spoken by Audrey in FWWM/Message no.3 is spoken by The Little Man in the series/Message no.4 is spoken by Major briggs to Bobby Briggs in the series BUT i have never heard message no.1 - I can only assume its Bob in the series but I have never read it or heard it anywhere. Anyone else know where this is from?!
Hello, no msgs. on the vinyls I have, the only things I have noticed, are the dates of realize of the albums, almost carved on its, and the shades of colors like rainbows, on a few of its, while others don't have it, but it 's been interesting and cheering going thru memories and remembering the times, thanks again for your videos!
WHOA! That's sooooo cool! I've been tossing with the idea of buying this same thing on vinyl and you just may have pushed me into it! lol I know off the top of my head that Led Zeppelin 3 has "So mote be it" on some copies and on some very limited editions it also has "Do what thou wilt" on it. Led Zeppelin 4 for some reason says "Pecko Duck" on it.
Thanks for doing a review. I just found out yesterday that the movie Fire Walk With Me is being redone/repackaged by the Criterion collection and It will be released in the fall. September or October I can't remember which one and it will include "The Missing Pieces" which for now are only available on a HUGE Blue Ray edition of Twin Peaks Season 1,2 and FWWM and that's very expensive. So in the fall I'm buying the repackaged movie!
It's "If i had a cigarette... I'd be rich". Not "dead". It sticks out in the film specifically because having a lot of cigarettes doesn't make you rich. I'd be interested to know which is actually printed on the record, the accurate quote or otherwise. Similarly the line from the movie isn't "my next victim" because the line is spoken by Albert, who is not the killer. Again, I'd be interested to know if it is "my" or "the" printed on the actual record. One is accurate, one is not.
Dude, you could play Bob in the new series.
+toby griffiths I would have LOOOVED that!!!!!

I agree, FWWM is a total underrated masterpiece!!

Hell yeah! I'm actually gonna buy this record today and I'm so hyped about reading these messages!
I found messages in the run out grooves of Husker Du's Zen Arcade, New Day Rising and Flip Your Wig. You can tell it's Bob Mould's handwriting.
Cool!
Hey TJR,I hear that chewing gum you like is coming back in style.lol.
Big LOL! Thanks :)
how's annie
That's super bad ass, good eye!
LOL! Thanks.
Hi, I have not seen the series nor the film.... and now i am curious to listen to the soundtrack of both....
try streaming it first. If you like "Film Noir" you will probably really get into the music.
Ooowwwwh interesting 😃 guna check out some of your other videos now
Awesome thank you!
You can find some hidden things in the dead wax-area of the Season 3-soundtracks too.
Is it "I would be dead" like you said or "I'd be rich" like you have written?
I am sure it should be "I would be dead" since that's what she says in the movie, and I doubt they messed up the quotes on the vinyls :)
In the movie, it's "rich", not dead. It stands out specifically because cigarettes don't make you rich.
@@CalumCarlyle it’s definitely “dead”... not rich.
Wow, never new about them doing that. I'll be looking close to my records.

Awesome soundtrack, maybe the best to any Lynch film IMO, and what looks like a beautiful release.
+Bolteus Yes. It's a very beautiful release and a fantastic soundtrack

Sycamore trees sounds so much better on this vinyl than TH-cam or the CD wow
But what happens when you play them in reverse haha ?
+Gareth Sharkey 😄
Then suddenly all the backward lyrics have subtitles. XD
Please finish the Sgt. Pepper review.
Working on it....but in the meantime I am making other videos too.
