I had to sub you mate, I love your delivery of this tutorial! I got mine just after this last Christmas, so tutorials like yours ('as someone said' nice and calm).. are essential to me and others to be able to learn how to use it properly, without listening to loads of faff and waffling on like a lot do, and little explanation of what they are doing. Being a baby of the early 60's, like a lot of us, you make it easier for us!!! Thanks mate, looking forward to watching p.2.
Thanks a lot for the compliments. I feel kinda insecure about making tutorials to be hones, especially because the fast pace "faff and waffling" is being rewarded by the algorythm. Many words in as little time as possible:))). But glad to hear it helped you out. Enjoy your Wavestate and thanks for the sub!
I just want to say, I've had my wavestate for a while, and in many ways it's been a mystery I've wanted to explore-and yet struggled to wrap my head around. You really have a great calm way of showing how to program the machine. Thank you so much for your contribution, I look forward to all that you have to share!
Thank you so much Jon-Luke! I am glad I can contribute something:). It is a tough synth to learn, that’s for shure. I didn’t explain the basics, so I hope you still got valuable information for your needs. Thanks for watching ✨🙏
Hey Josua! Nice tutorial. I own a Wavestate too, and thoroughly enjoy exploring it for Dark Ambient tones. I use the software, as well as the hardware, for editing since some things are easier on one or the other. One thing to mention: SAVE your work before going on to the next layer! I've lost a few good sessions by being absent-minded while button-pushing. Thanks for sharing!
Hi, thanks for watching. I do save my work for shure. Otherwise I would not have any Presets to share or sell. But you are right, I should have mentioned it in the video for beginners. Thanks for pointing it out!
Great work!! If you load your own samples ...are the lower notes longer and slower and higher notes a shorter length? Or are all keys the same length in timing?
Thanks for an excellent video series - just wondered, where are the samples that begin “FW ATM”, “FW PD”, “FW PL”, “FW STR” from? Are they your own imported samples, or were they in a patch or sample bank? There are some really nice sounds which you have combined to make even nicer patches!
Hi, I got them in a pack from LFO store. But I am working on another pack for the Wavestate right now with more sonds like that. I was mumbling a bit about it in the beginning of the third part: th-cam.com/video/h0N2MR-3tIE/w-d-xo.html
Check out my new Wavestate Soundpack: th-cam.com/video/w7XMOkW8rTA/w-d-xo.html

I am glad it has some useful info for you! That’s great:). Thanks for watching 👍
So cool to see you do a tutorial - even if I don't own a WS! Great work. Cheers!
Thank you! I might do one regarding the Octatrack as well if this format does work for me, than you get your turn if needed:)
Greetings! First class, what I can whistle in my ears
Thank you so much!🙏✨🍻

Thank you🙂. Yes they change in length depending on the octave!
Karlsson von dach , with propellor ,look it up☺️
LOL, haha, of course I know that guy. Basically every second time I tell someone my last name in germany someone points it out😅
