      Adam G does FPV that’s good that people are like that some can be quite bad, if I’m ever flying and people approach me and start asking questions I just hand them my goggles and let them see for themselves. Get them to love it to 👍🏽😁. good work mate.

      One of my favourite flying spots, which I don't go to often enough. Because it's in the mountains you usually get turbulent weather so you can expect to be chucked about, but the DJI camera makes it very watchable, without loosing the feeling of being onboard a fixed wing :)

    • @AdamGdoesFPV
      @AdamGdoesFPV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Hein :) the landing was hard with the wind direction, lack of good surface to land on and lack of space, turned out OK however i did finally break the rear fin with that one. Not too surprising. Just switched to this FPV camera and I love it, very impressed with it!

      Don't give up on the MD its a great plane and there's probably a reason for the trouble you're having. Talon GT is very different, nowhere near as fast but more efficient and a fun little cruiser.

      Hi, and thanks. I decided to go with the high gain Pepperbox to suit my style of flying. I love flying medium range but at low altitude. As you're probably aware, the pepperbox doesn't fit on an AAT so I have a new ground station (video on my new GS here: th-cam.com/video/gNXeswKjmmQ/w-d-xo.html). Cheers

    Hey do you know whats the minimum flying speed require for this aircraft??. Or whats the stall speed, i have heard from lot of people that this aircraft requires high landing speed it doesn't glide well?? Is that true ...i recently purchased one for me.

    • @AdamGdoesFPV
      @AdamGdoesFPV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It feels like it glides ok, but yeah it like a bit more speed than some models. Landing is normally fine, was just a little harder in this video due to location and conditions/wind direction. not sure exactly what the stall speed is tbh. You'll enjoy it though :)

    It's true what everyone is saying, you fpv feed actually looks nicer than the hd footage! Does the lowered camera angle not bother you? If I had to skim the water like that I would probably dunk it or just keep lifting up.
    Great video, and next time go a bit closer to the cliff man! That BEPP can handle it ;)

    • @AdamGdoesFPV
      @AdamGdoesFPV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Shaun, I think the camera is angled down an average amount in comparison to other models and it’s never bothered me. If it was facing straight forward it’s not so nice flying with a little altitude as you can’t see much of the ground. There’s no doubt the Predator 4 is doing a fantastic job and the WDR is so good, but I think that this being better than the HD is just an illusion really because it’s on a much smaller part of the screen.
      The main reason I was being slightly caustics is that it was my first full flight with my new DJI camera on board, and I didn’t want to put that at risk over an area that’s so hard to access and would take me ages to recover. I think the DJI is worth almost as much as the plane and all of it’s gear haha.
      Cheers :)

    • @shaunvisser8155
      @shaunvisser8155 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AdamGdoesFPV It makes sense what you're saying about the camera angle. I just never go very high!
      And I'm with you 100% on the HD camera. I wouldn't want to trash something like that either. I recently dunked my S800 with my old GoPro Hero3 in the Indian Ocean, so I know it's not nice to loose that, let alone an Osmo or something similar!
      Please keep up the great vids! I was inspired by your 1.2G setup and got mine up and running. Used an arduino Uno with relay board to make my own diversity controller, and so far it's working great!
      Thanks for being informative and entertaining

      Talon GT is my preferred model of the two for the following reasons:
      - Increased stability with having a tail
      - Slightly better thought out design.
      - Less likely to cause damage on non perfect landings

      @AdamGdoesFPV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, i've only been running 3,100mah to date, because I have nothing in between that and a 5,000mah. I might give that a go at some point but I fear it may be a little too heavy. I bet 4000 woulnd be perfect though. I've not really done endurance flying, but i normally fly for around 20mins on 3,100 (but i do lots of WOT and changes of altitude etc.

    • @BlindedByEvil
      @BlindedByEvil 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AdamGdoesFPV nice, I was thinking 4000mah weight would be perfect or 4500 for endurance. what do you mean by WOT?

    • @AdamGdoesFPV
      @AdamGdoesFPV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BlindedByEvil yeah it's about getting the right balance for best efficiency. I'm not too interested in super long range with this model so flight time of 20mins is fine for me :)

    • @AdamGdoesFPV
      @AdamGdoesFPV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Rob, really appreciate the great feedback :D So i don't have a GP7 to compare to, BUT i did watch other reviews that compare the DJI to the GP7. I think in some cases people preferred the video quality in certain situations on the GP7, but the RockSteady feature (DJI) seemed to way outperform the Hypersmooth (GP7). Because this camera will be on fixed wing aircraft, I decided i valued the better stabilisation over the video quality (mostly because the DJI video quality is still brilliant!, better than any other action cam i've ever owned). Check out this video, but just watch 20 seconds of it, starting at the 30s mark. It shows a comparison of how well the stabilisation works on multiple cameras: th-cam.com/video/vMD8l4487Ps/w-d-xo.html

    • @FarmerFpv
      @FarmerFpv 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AdamGdoesFPV thanks for replying bro, yeah you make a good point since I fly fixed-wing but I also fly freestyle quads I really don't need stabilization on my freestyle quads but on fixed Wing I do plus DJI has always had the best stabilisation out of all the cameras I think I'm going to go for the DJI action camera plus online mini quads I like to use the Hero 5 since it's lighter.
      And that's a very good comparison in the video.
      One camera I did try because I wanted to keep the weight down was the Caddx Tarsier on my Goblin and also on my Nano Drak prototype you won't believe how great the stabilisation works for just $100 camera. Perfect for the smaller lighter fpv fixed-wing platforms.
      Anyway again thanks for responding and hope all is good on your side of the world, sorry for the late reply.
      Cheers
