This was beautiful, Gray's best character in the game after all, with just such a support he could change the end of Feye to something decent at the end

Well in the ending it said Faye did find a sutor in Ram village and had a family but it later said sometimes she would be gone for long periods of time the family would get worried.....Faye.....what are you doing or should I say WHO ARE YOU DOING!

When I played the game, I really wanted to like Faye, but I wasn't able to just because of how bland she was due to lack of supports not involving Alm. So I'm really glad these videos exist, since they make her seem to be a more fleshed out and loveable character. So thanks a ton, Custom. I'd love to see more.

Honestly I don't get why people hate Faye so much. Is it because of the Alm thing? Camilla and Tharja are basically the same and people love those two because fan service. I know Camilla and Tharja have some supports where the avatar isn't mentioned, but those aren't there for Faye because of the small amount of support conversations in Echoes. Or do people hate her for being a new character because I don't see much hate for Fernand, Berkut, Rinea, or Conrad.
Shes a yandere without the fan service. Between Camilla and Tharja, Camilla has more personality and depth to her. Tharja is just obsessive for no reason other than being a Yandere. This is why I like Rhajat more than Tharja, because Rhajat actually some personality to her other than being in love with the avatar, compared to her Awakening counterpart.
I don't really hate Faye per se but I can see why others do. It could be because we really learn nothing about Faye's backstory or hobbies of any kind. At least Camilla has a backstory (even if it's poorly executed).
It certainly doesn't help that Faye's only non-Alm support is with Silque and it involves her kind of being a brat for most of it.
If Faye had some conversations that perhaps delved a bit more in to her life and lifestyle and all that, I think there would be less hate.
LucarioTube Maybe because her other support is bad?, She isn't like Camilla and Tharja at all because they had good supports that show other side of them, the other Faye support just show how she only cares about Alm, even when they talk about them sending letters to their families they mention that Faye only talks in her letters about Alm. Like seriously I don't see how someone can defend her character, she is cute and all but her character needed more, the writers didn't really care about making her interesting...
Camilla and Tharja don't treat others like shit over their obsession with said avatar like Faye. And they have more to their life outside said obsession. Unlike Faye.
As someone that liked both Tharja and Camilla, and doesn't care for Faye, I can honestly say I don't really care about the fanservice. I mean sure Tharja and Camilla and made to be hot, but they have depth to them, Camilla was forced to kill her siblings and go on murder spree's or she would die, and her obsessive possessiveness to everything is her desperately trying to hang onto what little sanity she has left. Meanwhile Tharja was raised to use Dark magic, it was even used on her a baby, and she has always been an outcast because of it, unable to make any real connections with people, and only focusing on her own magic, until she meets the Sheperds, who make her part of an honest group, and Robin especially because she feels, for the first time, an honest connection with another human being.
Faye just kind of likes Alms and will kill for him because reasons. I mean she really has no reason to be so crazy, nor is she given much depth out side of it.

So you made this? you have Faye a LOT more personality than IS did with her character, i felt that all the obsession with Alm was childish and she will get over it with the time, but even after finishing the game her conclussion is so bad. He still in love like a little girl, made me mad honestly i wanted her to develop a lot more. This is a great effort and writing.

Yeah faye's charecter was SERIOUSLY hurt by the fact that supports are so limited in this game. If most everyone on the same route supported everyone else this game would have been perfect lore wise (gameplay still sorta sucks)
Luxorious Luxray gameplay wise not really echoes changed the formula a little too much
Casual Aggron Echoes didn't have the weapon triangle, archers can attack at adjacent spaces, mages pay for their castings in health, and terrain effects have an effect on hit ratios with the exception of mages....those are a few of the notable major changes from Awakening and Fates.
No, echoes changed a bit to LITTLE VS gaiden
In towns and other areas, you could talk to allies, and they would explain something about themselves. This game probably had the deepest characters (correct me if I’m wrong) in recent history.
The memory prisms and DLC (Rise of the Deliverance specifically) also help flesh out the world

This is nice!! but at the same time, I personally felt like tobin could've fit this role more. He's kind of jealous of Alm and personally more the type to go over and comfort someone. Plus I think Tobin and Faye would've been really cute together, actually.

Wow... By combining the best and worst characters in the game you made something beautiful. See this is the only thing I found bad about Echoes. It had brilliantly developed characters like Gray who was likable, funny, and a good unit always there for Alm and ALWAYS on my team. But characters like Gray ended up leaving ones like Faye in the dust. Faye along with some other units were just wasted potential. Her entire character is JUST ALM and her ending SUCKS. THIS is what they could have done with her! They could have made her development about getting over Alm and teach people that there are always other fish in the sea. This same situation could even apply to Cordelia from Awakening.

Why is Faye even a character? She doesn’t do anything special and she’s not a part of the plot. It’s wierd that she was even included. I like Faye but she is not necessary.
