Okay so now that #FireEmblemSweep is in full effect, I can believe this was an unresearched fight animation that may or may not actually reflect how the minds behind SB actually feel this fight would go. That all said, here is at least a breakdown of why I would agree with the fight. To start off, the biggest wildcards here are Roy and Daisy. Daisy just has such little material to pull from in a format like this unless we just say "She's probably just on the same level as Peach" who we do have more metrics for. IMO, this is fine. The media Daisy does appear in almost always has her be on par with Peach in most areas physically, so just giving her a more sporty arsenal is a fun way to differentiate two very similar fighters. The other one who is hard to quantify is Roy. While many FE players know this, not everyone is aware that Roy actually kinda sucks in his games. His only mainline entry is FE6, where most players agree he is more of an active liability than anything else. However, this is (A) a player bias and (B) not indicative of his strength at the end of the game. His real trump card is the Binding Blade, which is an absolutely gnarly weapon I'll get into later. Firstly, in a stat debate, it is important to note this version of Roy is not FE6 Roy and FE13 Chrom, but rather Roy and Chrom both from Heroes. Leaving out anything that you might add specifically from Heroes and instead using Heroes as a concept to assume their power level, like SB did in the Byleth vs Palutena episode and like how is suggested by Engage, Roy and Chrom would both be put at the same level for AP and Speed that Robin and Byleth were, meaning both fighters have the same AP and speed that are listed for Byleth, that being an AP and Durability of 21 Zettajoules (or for a more explosive comparison, the force of over 5 trillion tons of tnt) and a speed of Mach 9,700. They are both given as a baseline Small Country level AP and Durability. In comparison, Mario characters have never clocked in anywhere remotely near those numbers, not even in the Rosalina episode. Being totally honest, there are probably far more generous measurements that could be given for both sides, but as things stand according to Bracket Rules there is little room to argue that FE has a stat edge over the Super Mario world. Next, let's look at the legendary weapons that are being wielded by Roy and Chrom. Roy wields the Binding Blade, a weapon capable of emitting long range blasts of fire that have been shown in the manga to cover entire battlefields. In lore, the Binding Blade is one of the 8 Legendary Weapons of Elibe, the creation and power of which was enough to create a winter snowstorm that covered the whole planet. Of the 8 weapons, the Binding Blade is by far the most powerful, with the most magical energy. The Ending Winter caused by the 8 weapons, in largest part the Binding Blade, was so strong, it rewrote the laws of nature and forced a critical weakness on all Dragons that required them to seal their power away into stones. Past all this, the most hax thing about the Binding Blade is the fact that it can seal not just your body but also your soul from great distance, pulling it inside the Blade until the wielder chooses to release it. Chrom's sword, the Exalted Falchion, has a shockingly similar power. Other than being your average "Anime rpg protagonist sword that can KILL GODS" and all that nonsense, the Exalted Falchion also has a very powerful sealing ability. It alone was going to seal away Grima, who is the fell god of destruction, for 1,000. In fact, it already did that 1,000 years ago at the time of the First Exalt and 1,000 years before that during the time of Alm of Valentia (Not the same exact Falchion, but another fang of the same god Naga). Chrom has the skills and stats to do this in one hit, with every swing of the Exalted Falchion. In terms of experience, Roy has fought through a war that spanned his entire continent whereas Chrom has fought through 3 wars that spanned both his home continent and the continent of Valm to the west. As a lowball, they are extremely seasoned warriors and leaders, with Roy's tactical ability specifically being praised in his source material. There could also be a valid claim that the two have combat synergy as Roy is one of the fighters who Robin can summon to fight alongside Chrom's army, meaning Chrom has probably already fought alongside Roy in real battles before. All of this is without getting into all the many skills, weapons and arts that Roy and Chrom can utilize in Awakening, Fates, Echoes, Engage, and Heroes. This battle may be "Unresearched" and I think that is valid, but without greatly departing from both the tone of the series and logic itself, Roy and Chrom should comfortably capture another castle for Team FE.

Coming from someone rooting for Chrom and Roy; Daisy was probably the most entertaining combatant in this fight, her mocking confidence was excellently contrasted against Peach's dainty and regal disposition. Having the thumbnail feature Daisy punching Roy's sword was a fitting choice, she really comes across as the kind of badass who would bring little more than her fists to a swordfight, trash-talk her opponent, and actually have the skills (or at least the crazy items & abilities) to back that talk up.
What if they actually used powerups? They have the range to fight, but they didn’t use counters, final smashes, Mario RPG moves/items, + more… Good fight tho
@@LevelUpLeo I'm pretty sure on the official website for smash 3ds and Wii it heavily states that they're the same fighters entering master hands created universe. Proved even further when you look at their trophy descriptions
Oh boy more Smash Bracket! Gabriels animation style really does benefit from having some breaks from the other animators. Im happy Omega was able to help fix the issue with the flashing cause losing a animation this fun would have been a shame.
Lol I couldn't stop watching that part once the animator turned it in. I was so happy with it. And the baguette line was actually a last minute audition by yours truly! It almost did not make it in
I thought Peach and Daisy would have one due to scaling to Mario and Luigi and in the sports main series and rpg have magic that can heal but also prevent foes from using skills like in super mario rpg their better be a good reason for why chrom and roy won cause I don't know much about the series also Peach I think would have been fine due to being able to heal heath along with her ally along with Peach having emotional manipulation and Daisy having Plant Manipulation by changing the battlefield along with Peach is able to use psychic power as showed in Mario and Luigi bowser's inside story but I do think that the fire emblems character are getting lucky consider not a single one loss yet how.
Keep in mind that they weren't able to line up the winners in the animation with the research due to some logistical issues. For all we know, Peach and Daisy might realistically win this fight!
I agree the same goes Mario vs Mega Man cause Rock can't kill human and the Black hole bomb is not a normal black hole if it was every boss would die to it only kills small enemies like the black hole wisp from Sonic Colors.
That what I'm talking about also this one time someone said super sonic can make a black hole due to violet wisp can and due to SS being stronger he can too which is false also I did play Sonic Colors DS.
I mean, yeah, unresearched I can understand why someone would think two guys with swords would beat two weaponless princesses... But I'm convinced that a researched fight would lead in the complete opposite direction.
I love this trailer!! Super hilarious. Thank you for the effort you and your team put!! Question. Why didn’t Alph from Pikmin or Leaf (female Pokémon trainer) didn’t have a chance to compete in the smash bracket?
They had planned on having Leaf fight Red to see who would be the Pokémon Trainer in Bracket but they decided against it cause they would have to stop working on Red vs Ness to do it and it would be alot of resources
@@KINGD353 They either had their own names associated with the skin, or had the entire character name be vague enough to refer to any of them (heroes). Idk about Alph, but I dont think he would have made a difference anyway
So my prediction, I predict that Peach and Daisy will win in the animation, because when they were working on it they had not yet decided to use Heroes scaling for Chrom or Roy. As far as I know, Roy’s best scaling outside of Heroes comes from the FE6 Manga, which is impressive but nothing crazy. They probably scaled Chrom to Robin already. So the real winners are meant to be Chrom and Roy, but we will not see them actually win in the fight tonight. More FE Characters walking into an enemy castle in Bracket? Surprised Pikachu face.
It’s a shame this isn’t based on research, but I still enjoyed the animation nonetheless!! Tbh I was just kinda hoping the fact that Daisy once punched Bowser into the sky would be utilized.
@@twonony2686 "That being said, due to logistical issues, we were not able to line up the winners of the animation with the research in time" There was research.

@@RuneTacticss Jeez, you got real defensive real quick. I wasn’t trying to be rude, guess I just took your comment the wrong way. No need to start getting aggressive.
Amazing video, but canonically speaking the princesses wins; they both FTL+, survived blackholes, shattered crystals bare handed, slow time, mind control, make opponents sleep, heal themselves. Peach defeated Culex (the master of space and time) also capable of sealing, weaken opponents and strengthening/reviving allies. Daisy sent Bowser flying with a single slap, also capable of teleportation and duplicating herself into basically infinity.
Since this is going to be 50/50 on whose going to win with no research deciding the winner I shall follow in spirit and predict the winner by coinflip. Heads princesses, tails swordsmen. *flips coins* HEADS!!! The princesses are going to win!!! I shall update when the battle is available. Update: Darn, the coin led me astray.
I used to not have much respect for the fire emblem character (mostly due to lack of knowlage) but they seem on par with final fantasy characters, or maybe even overcome them.
I'm aware this fight isn't research, but I had a feeling it would end this way. I'm half tempted to think Fire Emblem is what DC is to Death Battle, what people say anime girls are to XVX, and what people say Sonic or Dragon Ball is to AR, which I'm trying not to think that, out of respect to the show and people who made it. Hoping this isn't what you guys had in mind for a researched outcome, but I did enjoy the animation regardless, and the voice acting. Daisy was spot on.
I whish there was lore to this because now I feel bad about Chrom and Roy winning and quite possibly killing the princesses. But in most Mario games, they start out with at least five lives.
I think the FUNNIEST part of this episode is when live chat just started yelling “ROY PRESS SEIZE ON THE THRONE” like he was gonna forget and then lose because of it.
As I love both Daisy and Roy, I'm happy he won but I didn't expect them to be matched up like this, it's fitting though and I loved the animation, nice Roy sprites.
I'm not even a hardcore mario fan... but thiers got to be some kind of call and nerf to FE characters within these debates... its always based on the same boring bs reason of game stat and counter abilities rather than actual feats... its starting to become old hat. I know this wasn't based on analysis but you pretty much know what the verdict was going to be based on Palu vs. Byleth
If I were to explain it in a Yu-Gi-Oh perspective... It's like a 500-1000 ATK monster being carried through battle and the whole duel by absurd card effects. . Can't be destroyed by battle . Gains the battling monsters attack points . Isn't effected by the opponents card effects . This card cannot be tributed Just EVERY absurd little check box to insure that little 500 monster is invincible. That's what FE characters feel like they're doing in these debates.
In my scaling the top ten people overall in smash would be Mario Luigi Sonic Joker Sora Bayonetta Lucina Kirby Peak shulk Cloud or sephiroth if they get dissidia
Uk this match up is honestly up in the air for me; roy is contender for the weakest fire emblem lord in the series. In all honestly, lucina and chrom both dont stand out either, but chrom definitely has the edge over them due to more combat experience and a better control over falchion over lucina, and not entirely relying on a special sword to be useful like roy. Peach on the other hand is so inconsistent with what shes capable of, from kicking ass in super mario rpg, to flinging bowser out of her castle in bowser inside story, to just doing nothing in most games. And daisy only does stuff in spin offs so idk who rly does win this fight
This is just another one of their biases takes the Princesses outstat, and Peach has ftl feats at the very least, and Daisy is consistently portrayed as faster than peach
@axillaryclinical don't start what I'm only stating the obvious fire emblem has a really dumb win streak to characters that they die to like peach and daisy. And also saying Peach had "low battle iq" is stupid, especially since she has fought a far wider variety of opponents then chrom and Roy
@@LunaAndPals it honestly shows, most of peach abilities weren't really used, only rage emotion was used and hammer for pick choice is a bold weapon when perry the parasol exist.
Honestly, I can't see the FE duo winning this. At best they can kill dragons, while equipped with legendary dragon-killing weapons and with the power of their armies at their side. They don't have those things here, and many of the most broken mechanics in Fire Emblem aren't really available to these two (many Skills, magic, flight, ranged counterattacks...) Meanwhile antagonists in the Mario world routinely become the size of planets.

It does that in the FE6 Manga!
Did not think a fight with Peach and Daisy could be so epic
Very underrated characters, honestly. Lots of fun potential with magic+aerial fights Mario style.
Tag team battles are so fun!! What a fantastic fight!
Diddy kong vs greninja did that if I’m not mistaken…
@@LevelUpLeo I'm pretty sure on the official website for smash 3ds and Wii it heavily states that they're the same fighters entering master hands created universe. Proved even further when you look at their trophy descriptions
@@LevelUpLeo But you said..
@@LevelUpLeo 💀
I'm kind of disappointed Peach didn't use her frying pan, but I guess that hammer does more damage. Wherever she got that.
Oh boy more Smash Bracket! Gabriels animation style really does benefit from having some breaks from the other animators. Im happy Omega was able to help fix the issue with the flashing cause losing a animation this fun would have been a shame.
3:30 favorite second of animation by a mile. Only other that even comes close is “HE’S GOT A BAGUETTE!!!!!” 0:30
Lol I couldn't stop watching that part once the animator turned it in. I was so happy with it.
And the baguette line was actually a last minute audition by yours truly! It almost did not make it in
I feel little dumb wondering why Roy and Chrom pair up, but reliable they’re echo fighters like Daisy and Peach
What is it with guys from Fire Emblem picking on Mario princesses?
I know, right?
Yea I know first Rosalina now peach and dasy damn
I agree the same goes Mario vs Mega Man cause Rock can't kill human and the Black hole bomb is not a normal black hole if it was every boss would die to it only kills small enemies like the black hole wisp from Sonic Colors.
about violet wisp, it can kill boss but it takes slow time to absorbed all ( it's in the DS Version) @@dartagnanearl1467
Is still weak when com pare to a real black hole.
That what I'm talking about also this one time someone said super sonic can make a black hole due to violet wisp can and due to SS being stronger he can too which is false also I did play Sonic Colors DS.
The Fire Emblem characters are on a rampage💀💀

@@FoxieTheWordCapitalizerpretty sure any gluten you got while watching this wasn't related to the fight xD
They may have taken up a big fraction of the Roster, but these Anime Swordsmen are not to be F*$%ed with.
this whole fight was clean and smooth i really enjoy watching animation
Underrated as FUCK !
I mean, yeah, unresearched I can understand why someone would think two guys with swords would beat two weaponless princesses...
But I'm convinced that a researched fight would lead in the complete opposite direction.
Peach does, in fact, own a weapon. Unless you are ignoring the Mario and Rabbids series.
It actually is researched
I love this trailer!! Super hilarious. Thank you for the effort you and your team put!! Question. Why didn’t Alph from Pikmin or Leaf (female Pokémon trainer) didn’t have a chance to compete in the smash bracket?
My best guess is because they're are alternate costumes
@eastonmurdock04 so we're Alex, the enderman, zombie, 3 of the heroes and the koopalings.
@@KINGD353 American Express was in this bracket?
I thought this was based off Smash Bros because peach would normally bring out her golf club and win instantly
The animation team did an amazing job as always
It kinda was, when she smashed Chrom into the sky with a home run
Oh no, FE won in a Smash Bracket.
I am totally shocked.
FR they always win its so boring😪
Peach and Daisy pulling off all these stunts I've never seen them do before, but it's great lol
I'm curious, when/if will you be posting the research yall did for this matchup? I'm actually interested in seeing it.
@@twonony2686dawg princesses wouldve been slammed even without heroes 💀
@@twonony2686 "That being said, due to logistical issues, we were not able to line up the winners of the animation with the research in time" There was research.
@@RuneTacticssHowever, they have stated that the victors of this fight might not be accurate to the research. Because if it was, the princesses probably would’ve barely gotten the victory.
@@treehouseoffun1242 That has nothing to do with my comment. The victors of this fight animation may not be accurate to the research is what you are claiming, which is true, and not once have I argued against that, in fact I basically said that in my comment, you're just waffling to the wind and then decided to throw in your opinion at the end.
@@RuneTacticss Jeez, you got real defensive real quick. I wasn’t trying to be rude, guess I just took your comment the wrong way. No need to start getting aggressive.
I love the fact that because Daisy was too powerful to be defeated, they sealed her in a crystal
When I first saw this I thought the princesses had this in the bag with their power ups ges showtime wouldn't matter a difference
This just got good animation.
The animation rivals Fox vs Sonic. Nicely done smash bracket crew
Thanks so much!
Since this is going to be 50/50 on whose going to win with no research deciding the winner I shall follow in spirit and predict the winner by coinflip. Heads princesses, tails swordsmen. *flips coins*
HEADS!!! The princesses are going to win!!! I shall update when the battle is available.
Update: Darn, the coin led me astray.
Don’t trust anything that comes from the government, even coins
Can yall stop remaking Rosalina vs Robin. You aint fooling anyone
You can never go wrong with Smash Bracket fights! This was 🔥🔥
Thank you!
I used to not have much respect for the fire emblem character (mostly due to lack of knowlage) but they seem on par with final fantasy characters, or maybe even overcome them.
Mario and Luigi about to start a killing streak
Where’s Peach’s hammer from?
Mario and luigi in the background:😈😈😈
Disagree with the outcome but amazing animation and voice work as always
Meanwhile
Piranha plant: Good view
Well, that was fun but Stop winning Fire Emblem,I want Meta Knight to beat Marth's ass next time.
He did before
@@angrygarbanzo5436 It should happen again XD
This was a nice battle to watch and I like the animation
I’ve even reacted to this battle
I think the FUNNIEST part of this episode is when live chat just started yelling “ROY PRESS SEIZE ON THE THRONE” like he was gonna forget and then lose because of it.
As a member of live chat, we would have felt awful if we were the reason Roy lost, so we gave him the information he needed to remember
As I love both Daisy and Roy, I'm happy he won but I didn't expect them to be matched up like this, it's fitting though and I loved the animation, nice Roy sprites.
I liked this animation and then before I look at the description they used an onlap song I really like, cool!
Alternate ending please
I'm not even a hardcore mario fan... but thiers got to be some kind of call and nerf to FE characters within these debates... its always based on the same boring bs reason of game stat and counter abilities rather than actual feats... its starting to become old hat.
I know this wasn't based on analysis but you pretty much know what the verdict was going to be based on Palu vs. Byleth
If I were to explain it in a Yu-Gi-Oh perspective... It's like a 500-1000 ATK monster being carried through battle and the whole duel by absurd card effects.
. Can't be destroyed by battle
. Gains the battling monsters attack points
. Isn't effected by the opponents card effects
. This card cannot be tributed
Just EVERY absurd little check box to insure that little 500 monster is invincible.
That's what FE characters feel like they're doing in these debates.
Welp.. that was a disappointing ending☹️ The animation and overall battle was funny and beautiful but still..
ONLAP? DID I JUST HEAR A ONLAP SONG?
👀

Chrom and Roy better pray to god that Mario and Luigi don’t figure out what happened to the princesses.
We all know that once they find out about this, all Roy & Marth are screwed and Roy gonna get the beating of his life by Luigi
Nice animation!
In my scaling the top ten people overall in smash would be
Mario
Luigi
Sonic
Joker
Sora
Bayonetta
Lucina
Kirby
Peak shulk
Cloud or sephiroth if they get dissidia
FINALLY Someone Who Agrees That Mario & Luigi Are A Part Of The Most Powerful Smash Fighters…
This is the most accurate list I have seen
Why are the Mario characters so high? I’m not saying I disagree, I just wanna know where you got that from
That is so wrong
Accurate list
Honestly I guess I should’ve expected chrom and Roy to win but putting that aside I loved the battle! Great effort! ❤
This is just another one of their biases takes the Princesses outstat, and Peach has ftl feats at the very least, and Daisy is consistently portrayed as faster than peach
don’t start that
@axillaryclinical don't start what I'm only stating the obvious fire emblem has a really dumb win streak to characters that they die to like peach and daisy. And also saying Peach had "low battle iq" is stupid, especially since she has fought a far wider variety of opponents then chrom and Roy
This is the last time I’m gonna comment something like this but for the love of god
THESE PAST TWO FIGHTS WERE NOT RESEARXHED
@@LunaAndPals it honestly shows, most of peach abilities weren't really used, only rage emotion was used and hammer for pick choice is a bold weapon when perry the parasol exist.

One of the greatest things I've seen in a while
good to know there is gluten in this video
Crazy I called it I called it so hard
Gluten be danged! I’m glad I watched the video!
Honestly, I can't see the FE duo winning this. At best they can kill dragons, while equipped with legendary dragon-killing weapons and with the power of their armies at their side. They don't have those things here, and many of the most broken mechanics in Fire Emblem aren't really available to these two (many Skills, magic, flight, ranged counterattacks...)
Meanwhile antagonists in the Mario world routinely become the size of planets.
I recon that ganon is the strongest fighter canonically because he has won and beaten plot armour multiple times
Daisy Canonically Solos 😹
