- The Last Breath is a Chapter for Dead by Daylight - available on Steam on August 18th 2016.
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer, your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As a Survivor, your goal is to escape and avoid being caught and killed.

Nah, it's worse than regular gameplay. But yeah, it's straight on the game engine and I doubt if it's even pre-rendered.

And from that moment forward, dbd would never be the same
I think the devs of dbd were heavily inspired by the silent hill franchise. The fog realm kinda works like the entitys realm, the nurse looks like a nurse from silent hill and in the end they ended up adding pyramid head from silent hill.
I think a completely indoors map would be cool.

If you have like an abondoned hospital, you can just make long corridors, with many doors on the side, you can replace barricades with bookcases and other items. It could work.

+millardsglory i agree. also the killer should be called like The Librarian. She could have a really sharp paddle and he ability could be hearing the survivors a bit more louder for a few seconds (since librarians have to listen for loud talkers). And like everywhere killers downfall hers should be afterwards a loud scream saying "Quiet!" which alarms the survivors of how close she is. Thats my idea.
The quality of their trailers improved a lot over the years, some of the recent chapters could honestly pass as movie teasers.

Yes,it let you a little bit of time when you blink to hit but if you use it for purchasing peapol you get stun 1 or 2 seconds ater.
also her move speed is slower than the other killers, so really she has to blink hit to hit people. unless she can cut them off.

They need to make a killer called the Traitor that can disguise as other survivors, knock them out with his fists after 3 hits on the body or one to the face and have all the maneuverabilities of the survivor including 3rd person and faking survivor actions like repairing, healing and sabotaging. That way you could only knock them to the floor if they can trust you to be close enough since you go at the same speed for everything. Or even better, make it that the killer is actually Benedict Baker after he lost all hope, and made a final diary entry about how he lost it and that he will take them all down with him or something...
yea but the thing is a full party of surv with skype or smth to communicate with , they will know that the surv is the killer
It still would take a few seconds of realization for anybody to notice the killer. Enough to hit them once or twice or drag them off a generator

Mocktail Haven Indeed, but he wouldnt need to wipe his fists and can hit again as fast as a human would, and the small impacts mean that survivors cant be knocked forward as much. So technically it would take about the same time as one cleaver and an arm wipe to drop 'em. I know it should take the same time as two hits, but seriously. You let them get close to you, so here's your punishment for your trust.

Hey devs if you read this I found a glitch. Some dude was being healed or something and got left before full heal and got stuck. Then I hit him twice (as the brand new nurse which is awesome ) and he was still stuck in heal position. I couldn't pick him up and I had to sacrifice my first (with only one quitter ) merciless victory . :-(
i think in the next DlC they should make a killer like the ring or the grudge can you image how terrifying will be look behind and see how those bitches are chasing you

This game is actually sick! Just an idea... You should make levels (maps) a bit more rememberable, more detail... basically, every level should have something really unique which no other level has. not sure what yet, but it doesnt necessarilly need to be very complex. something simple and unique and with that "thats incredibly scary and awesome" facor
This is now not only one of my favourite games but favourite companies because they truly listen to player input and strive to make the game as fun and balanced as possible, all the while having great art direction and creativity overall. However, whoever edited the trailer has a bit of practicing to do. But seriously, love love love this game and it's developers. Keep it up (:
