As someone who regularly complains about the power oligarchs have around the world, that is genuinely one of the most stupid takes I've ever heard. If anything it helps US arms dealers, not Ukrainian oligarchs, many of which are losing huge amounts of money as a result of the war. You think the US is just handing money to their oligarchs? The US is handing money to it's arms dealers to then give the arms to Ukraine. Ukrainian oligarchs have no involvement in that transaction whatsoever. If you want to blame war mongering oligarchs blame American and Russian arms dealers.
