Thank you , 40 years no meat here , age 61 , never felt better , 250 push ups a day , 6’2 and 195 pounds . The way we treat the poor , helpless , defenceless animals is disgusting.
The trend is absolutely real. People are not probably ditching meat entirely but they are increasingly consuming plant-based alternatives. Meat sales are down 6% in the US for the last two years. Even meat eaters that I know how reduced their meat/dairy consumption. Whatever the vegan community is doing is working. Let's keep educating and increasing awareness. The more people know the sooner they adopt plant-based alternatives. We should focus on children as they are more mature than adults.
“We should focus on children” No, we should never interfere in the children of strangers. That is OFF LIMITS. That is how a cult operates. I refuse to indulge in such militant extremism. Target the adults. Lead by example, be the change you want to see, but you have to understand that you can’t save everyone. Always maintain your principles.
The campaign against meat has been successful for 40 years, but there maybe a turn around coming soon with the growing popularity of low carb diets. Myself, have turned carnivore and the health benefits are real.
@@somethingelse9535 Low carb diets aren't a new thing. Atkins, south beach, LCHF, and now keto and carnivore are variants of the same basic thing with slightly different packaging. This month 65 years old, most of my life vegetarian and more than 10 years Vegan. My dog 13 years old and 9 years Vegan! Both very healthy and thriving on a plantbased diet.. Vegan4Life! ✌️🙏🌱
Are you sure your dog is thriving? I thought so also, when she had surgery (spay) they found internal fat. I went through several different options, yes one was calorie restriction. What worked was removing apples from her diet, and more animal protein, the eggs went back in. I cook for her, so I have total control of her diet, and I was truly amazed at how much difference making those two small changes did. The fat that I didn't realize was there melted away with increased calories and the same amount of exercise in a very short time. She is down to a svelte 74lbs, from 76lbs that I thought was perfect for her. I had already figured out that every other standard starch for dogs did not sit well with her digestion I thought the apples were working for her.
@skincarerainbow4950 Mind your own business and read the rest of my messages. My dog would have been dead if I would have continued giving him meat. He was always sick. Good for you! Veganism is great for the animals and the planet, but so many vegans just eat an unhealthy, meatless, version of the junky standard American diet. If kindness and compassion for animals is the motivator, we should all eat whole food plant based... and be kind to the human animal too.

16 years ago I went from Keto to Vegan overnight because Dr McDougall said a plant based diet would help my 23 year old daughter who was being crippled and put in constant terrible pain by rheumatoid arthritis. In 3 days her pain was reduced 90%. In 30 days the joint deformation started reversing. In 60 days she was 98% pain free with beautiful joints, and getting off the immune system destroying poisonous drugs that only treated symptoms. I wonder, would a devoted meat eater change what they buy at the grocery store to save their child's life? Sadly most of the rabid meat eaters I know will defend their love of eating meat to the death. One mother who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis along with her teenage daughter, actually punished her daughter for not eating her hamburger after the teen learned about my daughter's result. My family has a cattle ranch in central Texas. The mother cows are amazingly gentle creatures & very bonded to their babies & the herd. It's so incredibly sad when the truck comes to pick up the adolescent calves. The mommas look for them & bellow for 3-4 days, then give up.
I want to say that I’m fully vegan, but can only say I’m plant based for now. When I’m at a coffee shop, I still ask for honey as a sugar replacement, but use maple organic maple syrup at home. And sometimes when I I’m at a restaurant, I’ll order something that I know isn’t vegan, E.g., I’ll never order something off the menu that has cheese, butter, eggs, milk, etc.! but I’m sure whatever it is that I order still isn’t 100% vegan. But at home, where I eat 90% of the time, yes, what I consume is 100% vegan. Unfortunately, I still eat sushi or fish at a restaurant, not because I crave eating dead seafood, it’s just because there is no other main course option that isn’t meat, or a pasta drowned in cheese, so I switch from ordering the most vegan-like option for a main dish, to the “healthier option” for my main dish entrée.
Well about KFC that’s absolutely not true that they are selling plant based options in all locations as we asked our local KFC and they said they don’t have plant based options
What's the status on lab-grown meat? The pessimist in me sees powerful farming lobbies pouring billions of dollars in to slowing and hampering down its development and adoption.
The big meat companies will back it, they are protein suppliers not farmers, the customer wants the end result not the process and once they understand all the benefits well it becomes a simple algorithm.

What substrate does the cultured meat grow on. Where does it get its nutrients from?
“I eat meat because it’s cheap, it’s there and it’s normal.” Three of the main problems in a nutshell.
Don't know where they're getting their "cheap meat" from. I can eat the equal amount of calories and nutrition each day from rice, beans veggies, fruit etc at 1/4 the cost of meat, and that's just the cheap, CAFO meats.

My biggest dream is seeing a Vegan planet and ending Animal cruelty

Awesome documentary!!! what is that song in the beginning and end?
I'm 1 minute in and a Dave Asprey ad comes on, hilarious!
Will petri dish meat still be as harmful to human health?
I want to watch the next episode.
It's just okay. The good thing is you acknowledged that animal products are cruel and trying your best to choose a vegan options.
Look at Novac Djokavic, he is vegan, unvaccinated and winning
*mostly vegan
Well about KFC that’s absolutely not true that they are selling plant based options in all locations as we asked our local KFC and they said they don’t have plant based options
life long dream... 24years old...
YES! Go vegan! VEGAN WORLD!
What's the status on lab-grown meat? The pessimist in me sees powerful farming lobbies pouring billions of dollars in to slowing and hampering down its development and adoption.
They already are and Florida just banned it 🤨
The big meat companies will back it, they are protein suppliers not farmers, the customer wants the end result not the process and once they understand all the benefits well it becomes a simple algorithm.
the animations in this video is great 👏
Thank you!
He'll yeah.
