Good luck Kaiden! Your Dad was one of my favorite IM athletes and I had the honor of sharing the course with him at IM Canada . He won that race. I never got to experience Kona. Enjoy every minute.
glad I watched this video. I wish you the best of luck at ironman. I train by myself aswell doing 20 hours a week and its so true you sometimes get in your own head.
Hi Kaiden. Congrats on getting a slot. Don’t listen to the naysayers. Go out and live your best life. Hope this is the start not the bucket list event.
Kaiden seems like a nice kid but the blatant nepotism here is a little cringe. Think of all the age groupers who will beat him, but they won’t get an exclusive expose like this. They won’t get a lottery spot because their dad isn’t Chris Lieto (be real, you got the lottery because your dad pulled strings) Good Luck Kaiden. You can’t buy success. Winning doesn’t care who your dad was. Put in the work. Prove yourself. Then everyone will think you’re serious. For now, you just seem like a rich kid with more resources than anyone could ask for. Don’t take it for granted. Losing won’t be the biggest downfall. Not capitalizing on the opportunity you have will be.
The word "lottery" means his dad had nothing to do with getting to race. Do you know how many Hawaiians compete in Ironman events? This is a Raw production video and Kaiden is affiliated with them. Not sure why you sound so upset about this video.
I grew up watching Chris in IM events, and I have no doubt Kaiden has the genes to become an IM Champion. Enjoy the journey Kaiden!
I've really enjoyed watching Kaiden become the athlete he is. He's a great guy with a bright future. Major props to Chris for how he's raised him.

You can see the "proud dad" vibes all over Chris' face. Good Luck Kaiden. Watch out for the sharks!! (Lionel's vid)

Agreed 100%. Also, Kona is not even remotely the world's toughest triathlon.
@@ChristianLeeTrinot even close. It’s a great challenge for sure but for from the “toughest”
