"Dance of the Golden Snake" is a national orchestral piece composed by composer Nie Er in 1934. This piece is adapted from the traditional piece "Dao Ba Ban" from Nie Er's hometown of Kunming. The piece is known for its uplifting melody, passionate rhythm and sonorous tone, which exaggerates the festive atmosphere.
