Touhou Meijinka ~ Song of Divine Tempest - Extra Classic Mode 1cc (Reimu)

anyways my thoughts on this game fr
- You player is so slow, this applies to everyone. Normally, Touhou has more faster speeds than this and I think most shmups in that matter.
- Hitboxes in this game is so ass and microing stuff makes it really hard to know if you'll die or not.
- Midbosses either drops a bomb or a 1up, this is a 50/50 chance. Although you get bombs through score extends. Also every fairy I think also drop a random item too that is not a bomb or a 1up.
- There's a bug that gives you negative power and you cant shoot and bomb in this state.
- Yeah by bombs, it costs a bomb AND power. So its powerbombs but more ass cause why decrease your power when you have the bombs already, that's already enough.
- Marisa's the worst character in this game due to how her lasers are coded, they don't follow you and they despawn when it hits an enemy instead of piercing and it deals 1 damage (your main shot deals 5). Oh these lasers shoot every three seconds too.
- This game doesn't bring your bombs back if you're like below 2 so yes if you get 0 bombs, you can't bomb until you get one. I don't know how you mess this one up.
- Continues are pretty jank in this game I think it softlocked the game one time.
- Boss phases end fast, which is a good thing I like fast pacing but it sucks here cause most of the time it ends before stuff even happens.
- Boss patterns are pretty whatever really, nothing worth noting. Same with stage design really. By stages there's these green arrow sections in s4 that I hate cause fsr when someone turns kunais into aimed arrows, all lingering kunai bullets turn into aimed arrows which will literally jumpscare you and I hate that part so much. For bosses the hardest is prolly s5 boss and raiko due to how tight their nonspells can get.
- what the hell happened to raiko to become that much of a christian fanatic and having a sibling like that?
Yeah this game is one of the games ever.
edit: this run and the no health full scenario clear was done somewhere last December 2023, so all things I said up here are probably patched up.
