Nice, I have just won this camera on giveaway and waching some reviews now, and sice I do a lot of hiking seems like pretty decent camera to bring in backpack
Hi. Loving this review. What an adventure. Beautiful scenery. I would very much appreciate to know if this cameras photos allow for enlarging up to 60"inch poster size? Would the image still be great? Or is the MP not enough and must purchase a higher quality camera? I like to take photos of, scenery, nature and wildlife. Looking forward to your reply and any advice will be greatly appreciated. kind regards Tuubey.
I’ve got the TG7 and have been trying to get the best out of it but struggle with landscape shots. I’d love to know what you adjust manually vs keep on auto. Also do you use the fisheye as just a wide angle lens, it doesn’t cause distortion?
I am an OM-1 shooter and i have a question for you how many of the TG-7 images are straight out of camera and how many are manipulated post? They are beautiful images .
Great video. I’ve been lucky enough to get one of these for free via work. I currently have an OM-D camera. Quick question …. did you capture these photos in auto mode? Looking at the image ‘info’ I guess so. Thanks.
Thank you and good question. I typically shoot in Program mode and Aperture priority mode. I rarely use Program mode. The reason being's I like to exposure bracket and you can't do this in Auto.
Amazing pictures, did you do any post-processing? The pictures people post in reviews of TG-7 made me think the camera isn't that capable, but seems you've demonstrated otherwise.
I had an earlier version of the TG. It was terrible. It often froze up and I had to turn off and reboot it. So many frustrations and problems I eventually got rid of it. Like a previous commenter I would like to know if these photos are right out of camera or if they have been edited.
I have an earlier version, but the lens and most other features are the same. It has a lot of strong sides, but image quality unfortunately isn't one of them. I've never seen any other camera that get so little "real" resolution out of a 12MP sensor and it have fairly low DR and it's easy to get flare. That said, for a lot of scenes it works perfectly fine and resolution is way beyond what you'd need for posting on Facebook, Instagram etc. I shoot RAW+JPG and the RAW files are fine for correcting WB and other basic adjustments but highlight and shadow recovery is very limited compared to cameras with larger sensors. Even a one inch sensor camera is much better for DR. I wish OM Systems would implement auto bracketing which would help with the limited DR. I've had mine for a couple of years now and never had any reliability problems, love the macro mode and the build in ND-filter (which it pretends is the third aperture). Don't use it underwater though, but it's been fine in rain and snow.
I own one. Totally love it! I use auto mode all the time. Along with some of the pre scene settings. It totally rocks it!
Totally agree!

Many thanks for your kind and beautiful movie
Thanks much!

Thanks for demonstrating the tg-7
Which wide lens adapted to it
Thanks 🙏🏼
My pleasure. I use the FCON-T01 Fisheye Converter.
I have a TG-6 and love it on my boat and as a pocket camera when I don't want to take my OM.
I'm on the same page with you!
Did you shoot in raw or jpeg
I’m referring to the pics

Thanks for the kind comments. I always do some post processing. But very minimal.
Hi there. Is there any way to prevent the TG7 from taking a photo if the focus hasn't locked onto something?
I had an earlier version of the TG. It was terrible. It often froze up and I had to turn off and reboot it. So many frustrations and problems I eventually got rid of it.

Was the video itself shot with the TG-7 or only the photos? I've been trying to find reviews about its video capabilities and not finding much.
Mostly with the TG-7. Some of the "selfie" shots were done with the DJI Pocket.
Did shoot the pics in raw or jpeg. Did you edit pics
Always shoot raw and I always do some editing.
