  • We did it again! We've paint protected the world's fastest car! This time it's the 300+ MPH Bugatti Chiron Supersport. This 1/30 car is capable of 305MPH thanks to its 1600bhp W16 and state-of-the-art Michelin tyres.
    Our gloss PPF (paint protection film) protects the car's paintwork from stone chips, scratches, and swirl marks, whilst being virtually invisible on the car.
    Thanks for watching, Topaz Detailing

      @@TopazDetailing Do you know, why the B on the wheels and the B on the engine block is orange? Is it customized from the owner, because I also saw the ss300+ with silver B on the wheels and engine. Or are all orange at this spots?

I mean that car is just on a different level, however after showing us that champagne bottle it just makes you realise that the whole ownership experience of this car is something so special, so unique that to be honest I find even getting that glimpse just as amazing as the car.

    Andy Wallace set the record in a car with a different interior, which was probably meant for safety of the driver and was also lighter. I would love to see Bugatti cross the 300 mark on the production ready version and then call it 300+.
    Anyways this car looks sick and also maybe the fastest 😱🔥

    As ever, a beautiful finish, well done.
    Watching these videos though I am surprised that such a professional operation doesn't provide ramps for the cars. Watching the crew laying on the ground to finish the undertray or having to crouch so low, bending their backs and knees severely cannot be healthy in the long term. Perhaps some of the company profit could be reinvested to look after the team's health and safety?

    I noticed that you didn't dissasemble the car. I called one of the premier dealers here in the US and they said they couldn't put paint protection on without taking the car apart. I declined because I just invision missing parts and screws when they put them back together. Did you do this car without taking it apart?

    • @TopazDetailing
      @TopazDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You wouldn’t dissemble a brand new Bugatti without a very good reason to. We know how to work around the panel edges as they are. On some cars like Porsche we do remove door handles and intake vents for example with the customers consent. We also remove badges if the customer prefers

  • @insignia2766
    @insignia2766 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just for the sake of curiosity, were the clients able to have this specific edition in another colour schemes if they wanted to? And what about the wheels? Could they get another design? Or just that one?

    • @Jaf1304
      @Jaf1304 ปีที่แล้ว

      One design, just one for 30 cars for this version…
      You can have the Chiron Supersport on the other hand and you configure it as you want. But this Chiron Supersport 300+ series, there is only one configuration. In homage to the configuration of the one that broke the speed record...30 copies (but are the same otherwise)

    do you charge the same to do this work on a bugatti as you do on a wauxhall corsa? or do you ask for more for same service cause you can see the owner is sitting on a bag of cash so why not rip him off?

    • @TopazDetailing
      @TopazDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We would charge only by the size (and complexity) of the car, not the value

    • @qs3162
      @qs3162 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      One mistake in business is never rip people off regardless of how much they have, keep with consistency and you will have repeat customers. The rich are the most prudent with their cash and if they find out you took them for a ride you lost a repeat customer.

    i dont have the knowledge needed to say a bold opinion about this profession ... but isnt ceramic coating...better? cuz from what i know ceramic coating is more expensive than ppf (is it? i hope so😅😅) and price is definitely not the owner considered when coming to your workshop😂
    but i mean...u guys removed BUGATTI's ppf so yours must be something special ;)

    • @TopazDetailing
      @TopazDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ceramic coating is not better. It doesn’t protect against stone chips and scratches

  • @amstaylorph
    @amstaylorph 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I'm surprised that the people installing the PPF don't have to wear hairnets or masks. For cleanliness reasons. I.e. skin flakes, or hairs inadvertently making their way under the film.

    • @mikea5205
      @mikea5205 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally never liked the PPF process. Kinda like the whole hot dog being made thing. Window tinting as well. Baby shampoo everywhere, hopefully doesn't touch the interior. I'm super OCD though.

    • @RipJawsX95
