I'm just gonna leave this here. Cheritz, im forever grateful for you all. I started playing this game about a month and half ago, around that time i was going thru so much in my life. This game. Made me realize a lot of things about me. I finally admitted that I needed help (I suffer from depression). On the days I felt like I was in such a dark place,,this game, gave me joy. It made me reflect things about my life. Thank you Cheritz, and thank you to all the voice actors. I'm forever going to be grateful, i owe yall so much.

Well yea if you really think about it in a deep way, you could somewhat understand why rika did all these. But it's not something that can be forgiven so easily, but still she's not truly evil or darkness like she believes herself to be.

I've always been in love with V ever since I started playing the game... I could relate to that deep sadness; that feeling of emptines really resonated with me. I always felt compelled to comfort him, to provide him with a second chance at love and happiness. 💕

Whenever i restart his route, i dream of meeting him and Jumin and all of us sipping wine and reminiscing over the past, holding V's hand and just being there for him. Just like you, since starting to play the game, i was always curious about him, wanted to speak more with him and comfort him.
This 😭 I relate to V’s toxic selflessness. How he wants to protect everyone and would rather people hate him if it means they are safe. Even how he was scared of self expression for fear of criticism. He didn’t have anybody who really believed in him or taught him the right way
I don't think we are playing as Rika because
1. Yoosung's hair is blonde which he dyed it after Rika died. If you remember during his route Rika committed "suicide" when he graduated.
2. Saeran wouldn't be with mint eye or have different hair. He would still have red hair and gold eyes. Also why would saeran be in a suit? Is he invited to the party? Or does it mean something else? And if he is invited to the party was it V and MC who brought him back?
3. The rest of the members look sad or emotionless and Yoosung cries. And this could mean many things. But I think that it's the members expressions when finding out V and Mc's relationship. Also if you look closely Zen smiles after looking sad. And Yoosung is crying because V betrayed Rika. Seven is sad because either because of their relationship or if I am right about Saeran then Seven is sad about what happened to him. Jumin just wants what makes V happy so he has no particular emotion for it from what I can tell. Then Jaehee doesn't have any particular feeling for it because Rika and V didn't bring her in Jumin did. Which is why Jaehee really didn't feel bothered.
So that is why I believe we are playing as our MC

I was always curious about him in the regular stories. I knew there was more to him that met the eyes and his words made me heartbroken and then playing his route had me in tears. Imo he suffered the second worst (nobody can take Ray’s place even if I don’t particularly like him), but the fandom sleeps on him 😭 he literally sacrificed so much for the RFA that they don’t even know, went through such emotional turmoil and abuse and still manages to take it all, take the blame to keep the RFA safe.
V is an innocent angel. I don't really think Rika deserved him. I'm still mad at her because of the fact she hurted him. It's so sad... I want to be there for him and calm his mind... do everything I can and be there for him.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!
Now that I’ve played V's after ending (the forgive ending), in my opinion, I think the V's route is where you can “save” in some way all the members or make them change a little bit (not so much as their good endings, but having small steps). Think of it, Saeran is alive, so Saeyoung can move on even harder than he tried before, when he was thinking that he's brother was dead. Saeran, in his part, now that he can forgive himself and meets his brother, he can move on too. Yoosung, despite all the hatred he was trying to feel towards Rika because of what she have done it was bad, starts to listen to his own feelings and forgives her, because thats what he truly wants and starts to do what he really wants all by himself. Jumin realizes towards the change of Rika that you can discover love through yourself and not only from others, so she gives him a totally different perspective that he couldn’t see/feel because of his “hiding emotions habit”. Zen and Jaehee are the only characters that doesn’t change so much but gives emotional strength to the members (Jaehee telling Jumin that even if he keeps judging Rika so harsh, he doesn’t gonna feel well in the end because of the pain that provokes hating someone who in the past was very precious to him, and Zen giving Yoosung good advices about listening to his own feelings and have the courage to forgive someone he admired so desperately but in the end, was a totally different person far from his ideals). V, who can finally live his life with the people he wants, the way he wants, and being the person he wants to be, discovering himself and loving himself, and Rika, who finally finds her own desire and starts to reach it. Who can finally move on and forgive herself despite her past.
So personally for me, knowing that the 707 is the “real route” and has the “real ending of the game”, the principal route it would be forever Jihyun's. I admit that he is my favorite character and the only one with who in real life I would have a relationship because I understand him and I can empathize with his thoughts and feelings (and I know that I’m not the only one, Jihyun's lovers please, talk with me because all the people I know that plays MM only likes 707 😂) but despite this, I feel like his route it could be the real one of the game because of what I’ve said before, and not just because I’m a fangirl with favoritism for him. And I hope the Saeran's after ending will be as good as this (or even better).

Hi :D I read your comment and Im glad to read it, so I want to share my thought with you
At first I felt for Saeyoung because of his character and the theory related to him, but after play the casual route and deep story, I realized that Cheritz has built Saeyoung as a clasic figure, I mean Saeyoung is too good to be real. And hence I've started to pay attention to V.
V is also too good too, he always prioritizes his friend and and doesnt think about him just a little bit. But this "good" is definitely different from Saeyoung, this is an extreme of character or a defect of it. Saeyoung is good because he knows exactly what he wants and what he loves, he wants to protect all the members because of himself, this "good" is positive and full of strength.
But V is the opposite. I think this "good" is full of obsession and the root had growing gradually from his childhood. He developed this mindset since his mother sacrificed to save him, and his mind started to be full of wondering and curiously about "what is an unconditional love?". He feels guilty because of her death and if Im not wrong, he had an argument with his mother before the tragedy reached to her: she realized his talent and wanted to give him a push, she wanted her child could be happy and had a brave to do what he truly wants instead obeys his father as a living doll, and his father didnt support his son in becoming artist since he is a businessman in art industry, he wants him to take his step and study to manage his company but not "a commonplace artist"
Being nurtured like that, V became a child that could feel nothing and tended to ignore his emotions. If MC dont take the route, he must be still that child - lack of emotions and afraid to solve his inner things.
The more he knows about his empty, the more he desires to fill it up, he wants to be like his mother (another way of him to atone for her). Hence he simulates something that he called "love" and this fake thing was full of his empty, so that he could realize it's not real if MC takes his route - he doesnt love Rika, it was nothing but an obsession about love. Thus he becomes a blindly person who wants to figure out the real definition of love, follows his mother instructions without understanding it clearly, he relies on philosophy and study on it because he think that might work out and gives him a chance to reach it. But his effort is pointless cause he doesn't even understand himself.
Basically, he is just a shell. Empty, hollow but shinning as a pure mirror. That's why he is very excellent for photography. V reflects exactly what the object is but not the way he wants it to be, his mind is clear and empty as his hollow emotions and that give him an ability to take the pure beauty of itself. He is not "a giver", the definition of "taker" will suit him most. He needs someone who could fill his soul up with their pure of love, he needs to experience the healthy relationship to get mature enough to realize his shortcoming before he could be able to become "a giver" to lead another one.
This explains why V and Rika cant love each other but hurt themselves, Rika also doesnt know the right why to love another because her illness. They have met each other at the wrong time. How unfortunate and tragic.
And as a empty mirror, V reflects all the traumas that Rika gives him back to her and his shortcoming at the same time. Then Rika takes and starts to gives him all these things back to him again and waits for his react coming back. This is a vicious circle and there is no way out. If one or both of them still choose to be in this toxic relationship to be felt their identity, I guess we can do nothing but let them be if we dont take V route. But after all, V is an innocent although he is defective. That why I like him and I feel he's real. A blindly person who doesnt know how to love but still attempt on searching for it and keeps his faith no matter what , this trait makes him more humanity for me.

After I played V's route, I felt some kind of a way, I don't know how to describe, it's like I've grown up, is it normal that I learn more about human emotions in this game than in any real life situation I've encountered? Anyway it's was the best route I played, I got so invested that I really wanted to experience the feelings and thoughts portrayed♡ mystic messenger will stay the first and best game I ever played.

Cheritz, I almost never leave comments but I feel the need to let you know how much I appreciate everything you're doing. Your otome game is not like the others. It's really something special. The amount of love, time, and effort you put into this game is really something else. You don't just throw in a love story. There's a huge back story behind all the characters which made me grow to love them and feel for them. There is no other otome game that is more well done than this. You should be very proud.

Yes! I was discussing this recently with my cousin and why I love Cheritz and Mystic Messenger so much. This game is much more than a date game. The characters are have such relatable flaws and struggles and the game itself promotes valuing oneself and the pursuit of truth. Honestly it boggles my mind how deep this game can be, both philosophically and lore. And at the same time it's sweet, romantic, and funny.
