That was a beautiful scene between Zander and Emily. This version never had the chemistry as it did with Amber in the role, but they are better together in hindsight than I remember.

Well he had just found out about her cancer so it was more on the tender side. Also, even though he hid it he was probably scared & heartbroken for her. The way he shows his love is actually perfect for what they're going through.
