The worst thing gh did was kill Emily she was such a big character for years made me mad they should of just recasted her put her in coma until they found someone to recast her

I don't think it had anything to do with the actress wanting to leave. She stuck around for quite a while as visions from Nikolas's tumor after Emily was murdered.
