@@Nerty try tweaking with the settings and optimizing the game a bit I had a similar problem with cyberpunk and was getting low fps after tweaking it a bit it’s now running high graphics at 70 fps average
Btw if you're looking at getting this model remember to buy an extra nvme ssd as this one doesn't come with the necessary slot to install a 2 inch sdd or HDD
turn off optimus/hybrid mode and turn on overdrive , it will feel much more smoother , also you can de bloat ur windows if necessary and maybe tweak the NVIDIA controls a bit watch tutorials for those
I just got one. Only thing I did was go into bios and turn off the dynamic GPU setting. This way it only uses the Nvidia GPU. Downfall with that your battery drain will be much faster. But with Dynamic on its going to share your ram so 8gig turns into 5. But you get that back when you turn off dynamic. Love it I was getting over 140fps in warzone at med settings.

The other one is an igpu which is integrated, you can turn it off by turning off hybrid/Optimus mode, which will increase performance. But if u want to save battery life, U can turn hybrid mode on.
Is it true fans are really always on? I used to have an L340 gaming and fans would turn off when not doing demanding tasks like word, power point or navigating. Were you able to manage to have them turn off "sometimes" when doing non demanding tasks? I remember i used to have separate power plans, one for gaming at 100 % CPU and 1 for non gaming- or demanding tasks with 5% power minimum and 100% max CPU. So If i had my laptop plugged and if i was doing Microsoft office and navigatin, i would select the power saver kind of extreme plan, so fans would turn off most of the time as the tasks were not demanding.
If you switch the onboard graphics you should be fine. I have this laptop even with the RTX card. The fan does run but not all the time. Just depends what application you're running in but for the most part does very well. But you want to switch to on board graphics because the RTX card will drain the battery

Also note this laptop allows for pretty hefty GPU overclock in Bios without getting too hot or loud with the superb cooling of this laptop :-) Keep in mind this laptop has full GPU power with the Mux switch. Don't worry about it unless you're a professional gamer, just turn off Hybrid and turn on Overdrive mode when you game it should be good to go!
