I have a 2010 camry leather console cover I need to replace. I will try your method and even an update this week. Mine is ripped as well. Thanks again for the turtorial. I just replaced my sunvisor now another project. Thanks again.
Can't believe. The rip on yours looks exactly the rip on mine. Btw, this armrest is identical in other models. Mine is a 300C, same base part number, only different colors and material.
Hello where did you get the leather piece from? My armrest in my 2014 equinox just ripped its so ugly and I want to replace it. You make this look so easy!
Leper King i thought the same but as long as the plastic goes in under then i believe that it should just hold in place due to being pushes together so tight. ill let you know if it falls apart, about to do mine.
@@hq2t554 Funny you comment because I just did mine yesterday (Ford Flex). I used the staples. Seems to be holding just fine. I didn't use as much as the original was but enough and spaced out evenly. Factory worker/machine stapled excessively next to each other. LOL.

@@BLACK10STUDIOS and the staple goes into the plastic?
I just replaced my cover but used double sided tape instead of staples and it worked great
Is the double sided tape heat resistant? I wonder if the adhesive will become soft in hot parking lot over time and will lose grip.
