I'd put the spare tube in a small plastic bag to hold back dirt and if you leave it there for a long time there's a small risk it gets destroyed due to friction from vibration. Also you could put in a chain link. Like said before awesome color of the frame.
Was the valve thing a cush core style insert? Yeh allow rims all the way...they are as light as carbon..check out mbuk feb, reviewed carbon and alloy...no reason to buy carbon wheels, a bit of give in a wheel is a good thing!
Hi, what were those zip tie number board holders you used in the event? Had a search on eBay but couldn’t find them, what are described as ? Could you put a link up?
If you watch the video of Neil & Blake doing the event, when he talks about bike prep he fastens the numbers on with what looks like zip ties but they have a threaded inset that you screw a bolt into, bought for a few quid off eBay
Hi, im looking to buy a brand new Canyon Strive CF 7.0 and i dont know what size i need, what would you recommend me, i saw you were rippin' M size. Im currently 171cm but im 14yo what should i get, M or L size, im still growing and im thinking of L size. Cheers!
27.5 2.8 maxxis minion DHF tires or 29inch 2.6 for this event. That is about it. The bike is perfect. Great choice of components, geometry, travel, really nice. Love it:)
Yeah I was going to consider some code r’s although I went Magura mt5s cos they’re more reliable, more powerful and cheaper than the codes. The guides do that too.
If money was no problem than I'd change the fork to a fox 36. But otherwise nothing, probably just preference and Shimano brakes, also just because of preference
I've got this code's and despite bleeding procedure, which is obviously much bigger faff, they feel a lot like shimano - light action through the stroke and a pronounced feel of pads contacting the rotor - they just don't have that "all in" power so any panic braking won't send you over the bars
@@th_js I'm really not but nah never heard. I know Martyn is short 😂 yh doddy is a lanky dude but Neil doesn't look short, maybe he runs small frames which is why in comparison he looks big

A perfect enduro bike
Awesome
Check out Neil and Blake's Andes Pacifico diaries on our channel right now! 🤘

Just read the mail from Neil. Keep it up! You are the presenter I can relate most, and not just because we both ride a blue Canyon :)
Looking forward to the post race bike update...what state its in now...
Me too
I love the color of the bike
Reverse rear shox. Is it no problem?
My bike is reign. and I can't control rebound dial because of swing arms.
Damn it!
"Tires before friendship" :D
Nice new bike Neil! Got some sweet kit on there too 😎
Those DT1900s have a low count ratchet engagement, don't they? Or did the good guys at Canyon upgrade it to 54T ratchet?

The Shapeshifter can be compatible with other shocks, so Doddy will fit in a 160 mm coil shock?
What hip pack are you using? Can you do a video of what Enduro kit you have for this kind of race? Thanks

MarkMtbWales not seen what you’re referring to, but I think what you’re on about is a marsh guard number board? There about 15quid

We don't know the exact ones Neil got but try searching for "Screw Mount Cable Tie" or "Mounted Head Cable Tie" 👍
Home depot online
Electricians use em. Try electrical stores.
Could be me but that back end looks 'inactive' when the anchors are on?
Hi, I just want to know if the cables for rear brake and shiftier still go underneath the BB?

PREMIUM NEIL !!!!!!!!
Why Neil don't have His Ransom?
Ransom*
Don't think GMBN are supported by Scott bikes anymore.
Pretty sure canyon sponsores them now.
@@Luca-ft1kv Nukeproof as well
give me a 27.5 ransom any day
What's the rise on your bars?
Does this climb better than the spectral?
Thats a real beauty of a bike! Please don't thrash it too hard!
You see mine hardcore mtb enduro bike
I got a great screenshot from this video
would you carry a pump or co2 and where do you carry it?
Arent those M1900 wheels?
I'm pretty sure they are because that's what he said they are. Haha
why not xm1501 wheels? it's still alloy.

Where can i find a crash plate for 2019 strive?
How scratched is your bike after the big crash
Love it!
Tomi Saaranen I see a comment from you on most of the vids I watch 😂
@@name156 Haha I get a lot of similar comments!
Perhaps you should have had a fatbike for extra traction? =P
Haha
Haha, I'm sure blake would
How many bike does he have ??
N+1 😎
N+1 😎
Nice beast
awesome!
I don't see why people claim 29ers look bad. There's something about those big wheels that lets me know the bike means business. It looks solid.
Fun fact: Code’s are NOT super consistent.
Just leaving them under the sun for 10mins makes them stick.

Ur shoe is size 8!!! Bruhh I'm 15 and a size 11

damn 29 is biiig too big
Pretty good like to dislike rario
Why have all these manufacturers gone back to that awful Horst link design it's hideous. That's why I still ride a five-year-old AOS equipped GT
Because shocks have come a long way. Best of both worlds, awesome downhill and traction, but enough antisquat and support for climbing
