Dave egy jó énekes, Martin meg képes volt demo szinten összevakarni valamit mindig. (Ha hallottál már Demo-kat tőlük, már ha van füled...., akkor gondolom észrevetted, hogy minden demo szám édes kevés volt és lapos. Alan volt, aki ezeket felturbózta és Gareth Jones meg a többiek segítették a munkájukat a studióban.) Miután Alan kilépett a csapatból, akkor ezeket a munkákat más csinálta helyette, pl. Flood, tehát azóta sem 3-an alkotják meg a zenéiket.... Alanért meg kár, a Recoil-lal szerintem nagyon félrenyúlt, van kb 3 hallgatható száma... sajnos le is csúszott ő a létrán... ezt még az aukciója is meg az eladó autója is megerősítette, de azért én még mindig nagy zenésznek tartom.
