Pramod you need to make yourself fully aware of the regional cuisine before you review the food. Pongal is made with rice and moong daal and not channa daal. It’s a breakfast dish and South Indian cuisine would have many dishes for breakfast which are light on your stomach. Eg: idli, appam, idiyappam, puttu and pongal. In Part 1 you ate masala Vada and said that it was made with besan, but no it is made with channa daal that is soaked and ground coarsely and therefore the texture.
