Bengali food has as much dishes for vegetarians as for non vegetarians ... depends on the cuisine for Bengali food you will get diverse vegetarian options but for something like Chinese / mughlai cuisine the options for vegetarians are obviously less
But yeah since most Bengalis are omnivorous...it's a common joke among us ...that when we go out to eat why spend money to eat vegetarian food ..we do that all the time at home
