As a Cajun who was raised on red beans and rice, I was offered a red bean paste inside rice cake snack... at first it sounded like a good idea...then I get a refrigerated soft cookie/cake in a package. I opened it and it had powdered sugar/flour on the outside of the rice ....I was skeptical but Cajuns eat anything so I tried it and I'm in love with red bean snacks and matcha flavored from Japan. Aka green tea frappechino flavor...the Various seafood 'jerky' and wasabi shrimp chips...amazing!

I know you have to pay the bills somehow but that ad read is way too excessive. I initially wondered how detailed this 20 minute video is gonna be when it's just a Tallgeese with new wings but now I guess I know why. Your last two videos (this and the one about the MG EX Strike Freedom) both had 8 minute ads and honestly felt like videos made just so you can get the ad out there. Hopefully this is only temporary and you're just trying to hit a monthly quota or something. I know it's been slow going with gunpla specifically lately but it wouldn't help if the few gunpla videos that do get uploaded suddenly have an entire mukbang video for a midroll.
Got this bad boy a month ago after the six month wait for the pre-order. Great kit, weapons are very high quality (though a bit heavy for the arms, especially the halberd w/o the should attachment), and really create an incredible look paired with the altered wings. Also the first kit I've ever used the water slides for, which naturally look great on the white plastic. *Highly recommend* picking it up (next time it hits P-Bandai) for anyone who likes the Tallgeese or wants a great centerpiece kit. I'd made the RG Tallgeese before but never the MG, MG Goose is still a great kit and the integrated the parts well. Great review as always!
It's definitely between the Flugel and the Tallgeese III for me. III has that wonderful shield+heat whip and I absolutely love rail guns. But the Flugel is absolutely beautiful and rocks the wings better than the Wing Zero Custom EW, AND it comes with a lance AND a halberd, AND the MG's spring-loaded dober gun is just too cool.
This unit comes with all the parts for the original Tallgeese MG, but also to make it into the Flugel. You can build the original backpack, but ya do, there won't be any thruster bells for the new parts that need them. I choose to mix and match my unit when it came to the wings. I wanted a more angelic appearance than one that reminds me that its part machine.

In the middle of this build and thoroughly loving it! The plastic quality is really good, even the navy blue cleans up well, considering how terribly Bandai's darker colors mark and stress.
The best part of the Flugel is I'm finally off the hook for my decision on how to paint the regular MG Tallgeese. It's getting TV colors, baybee! I do honestly love the concept of the Flugel though. From what I understand of the story of Glory of Losers, it's a nice and tidy retcon to explain the strange appearance of the angel wings in EW, and gives a visual upgrade to the Tallgeese for it's journey into space arc. V.nicely done for what amounts to a quick little partswap in terms of concept.
I managed to grab a Flugel for June delivery but I'm still a big fan of TG3. Though I'm betting a side by side, the Flu will have better shelf preference due to the wings

I already have Tallgeeae I-II-III, so I skipped this one. I think that was a mistake because this thing looks amazing. The Tallgeeae III is still my favorite for the cooler head, color scheme, and weapons. Though the Tallgeese II with its Gundam head is cool as well.
This was my first Tallgeese kit and it was a joy to build, though not as complicated as some people made it out to be. The new weapons were a delight. Sadly the waist broke on mine and a part of the waist armour tends to dislodge as I’ve seen with your copy… time to make a better waist joint RG nu family style. Awesome review as always!
Thank you for showing the cockpit with the seated pilot figure inside!! Baffles me how some reviewers mention every tiny opening hatch and accessory but never show the cockpit or figures
I also thought the RG was the only one to be able to hold the gun. The MG is a bit outdated with the joints and it never really worked, but my RG held it quite awesomely.
I can confirm you 100% can make the normal MG Tallgeese with the Fluegal. Truthfully you come just two parts short of being able to assemble everything in the box perfectly as it would be in Fluegal or Tallgeese EW. That being the two thruster parts used from the base back thrusters that are repurposed into the Fluegal back wing thrusters. It's a small shame they didn't find anywhere on the new runners to throw in two thruster bells so that you could make everything perfectly. But it's also hard to complain about the Fluegal with the sheer price to plastic you get in the box. At 72 USD Pbandai direct(when I ordered mine in I think november-ish?) just on the added Wing Zero Ver Ka wing parts it meets the price to plastic volume of the Wing Zero Ver Ka+MG Goose without having the overshoot that using a wing zero ver ka would leave you in excess parts. All that before we even consider all the new molding. TLDR: MG Fluegal is an amazing value overall. It has all but two thruster bells needed to make EVERYTHING in the base Tallgeese or its Fluegal configuration. Hot Diggity Daffodil!

I was not very fond of any MS that were not apart of the main characters, but in the last 20+ years since I became a fan of Gundam Wing The Tallgeese has become one of my favorite MS from the series. Incredible review for this incredible kit! I hope to find one myself, one day. lol

Really the is one of the most impressive kits I own with regard to shelf presence. I really do think it looks fantastic, even if you're just going to snap build it and do some basic nub removal.
I have this kit but I gotta say I thought this design was interesting since I first saw it. That being said, Tallgeese 3 looks simple and clean, the antenna, the pops of blue, and it weaponry make it for me. But this,I will confidently say is the true Tallgeese 1 design. I wondered why it never had proper wings like the Wing variants. Considered adding my own goose wings or something one day.
Regarding the clips that hold the lance.... Don't the lips of the clips fit in the slots on the grey piece of the lance? They look like they can fit there...
Worth noting that two runners carry a bunch of the Twin Buster Rifles parts in a different color, so if you bent the stupid C clip in your Wing Zero EW Ver Ka like I did, here's not only a replacement part that isn't visible from the outside, but you can replace parts to give both of them a two-tone look. Additionally there's a pair of the Wing sabers stored in the wings (4 total) and there's a TON of left over parts, especially from the wings, for whatever custom project you wanna do. This kit is my favourite in my collection, they went out of their way to make those customized wings, which is ironic considering the Wing Zero got its wings from this guy. Gunpla's funny that way I guess. There are better made kits, there are better looking kits, there are more mechanically advanced kits and better building experiences, but still it's my favourite looking one - It tickles my pickle. To think that I used to think the Tallgeese looked lame back in the 90's and now it's my favourite looking one since I built the RG.
Oh dang you got to tell me about the Twin Buster Rifles spare parts. I accidentally bent the C clip on one of the rifles and the Fluegel kit just came in within the very same day.
@@ducpham1478 You get some of the same sprues that’s in the VerKa WZ kit, only in a different color (so you can two tone them). Just look at your WZ manual, disassemble the rifles and replace the part with the new one, plus whatever else you want to use to switch up the colors. Grats on your Flugel!

In other words, a (nearly) full pair of boosters can be built as well, with only two thruster bells being shared between them and the alternate... "back accouterments"? I have to say, though, I found myself rather... underwhelmed, holding it in hand. In the lead-up to its release, I thought of course it should get these, it's far and above the ideal candidate to get the angel wing treatment. The manga artwork demonstrated this, the promo photos demonstrated this, the box art demonstrated this... and then I'm putting it in pose after pose and looking at it from angle after angle, and it just... won't... look... right. Maybe it'll grow on me. I was similarly ambivalent to the original TG design; it was only after the TG3 came out that I began to warm up to it, so maybe that's the case here, too. Anyway, nice review, glad to see you uploading again and glad the stress of the move is all over and done with now.
If I continually tune in to your pooptube channel to get eating advice I'm going to suggest Bandai put out a mg chefs hat. And hopefully it will not be pbandai and come with some amazing details and large weapons 😝

Tallgeese is best-geese. Bandai don't dare make a PG of it, otherwise Japan would sink in the sea, caused by a tsunami and earthquake of awesome.
19:26 I think the RG did a decent job for the kit to hold on to the gun with its swivel joints on the main handle. Maybe I'm missing something.
You're not, it's far better and esentially 'fixed' the issues with the MG. It is a little bit limited still, but far better.

I personally think that Flugels backpack; the part that connecting all the wing is much more interesting than the one on the WZEW.
