Definitely. As well for custom colors. Most of the time a lot of what I say in a review gets cut, this particular video was 56mins long before editing. To clarify the point I was making though, what I meant is Bandai should be all in or all out. Provide clear parts for all kits (as well as colored clear parts or foils), or don't do it at all. The whole colorless in some kits and not in others is just weird and confusing, but not important enough to spend 10mins talking about it :)
So, he was REALLY in love with this unit, there's music and slide cards. Side note: no one can debate that zech is the best char clone, he is the only one to pilot TWO gundams and say "this is trash, I want my non-gundam back"... But that's just me
Nameless Protagonist i disagree, friend. The unicorn RG is great and all, but mine is a bit fiddly. Esp with the white part on the crotch and the back skirt flaps
I love the RG Unicorn, but yeah, I've had a quite a few issues with pieces falling off left and right, especially with the (admitted really cool) transforming parts.
Chilly Jack yeah no doubt the destroy mode transformation was best pulled of in RG form. But let's admit, it wasnt really that realistic in the first place so we cant really fault them. Great kit overall tho
Edi Soriano Quick question, have you ever put it under a UV/black light in destroy mode? All of the pink plastic lights up BRIGHT pink and it looks freaking amazing.
I just got this, built it in a day (my first rg) and it was a joy to build, truly enjoyed the experience. Need a little bit of practice with the inner metallic stickers, butyeven those were super friendly to apply. All in all, loving this kit
You are easily the best gunpla reviewer I have seen yet, you cover all the bases! Showing the kit as built out of the box, pros, cons the articulation, decals, comparisons, and you sound somewhat enthusiastic! Thank you dude, it makes choosing my next project so much more straightforward. Edit - Dayum, those verniers have better articulation than my MG TG3 EW that I shelled out for haha!
I broke my RG Exia quite a while back and I told myself I was never going to buy another RG. Then I fixed said Exia, then needing something to build and deciding to give the RG line another try so I got 00 Quan[T] and absolutely loved it. Now after several more kits I think it may be my favorite line.
tallgeese really IS awesome but you'll forget this kit by the end of the year cause we'll have a RG Sazabi! just like the rg gold frame amatsu mina forgotten beacause of the awesome unicorn
557deadpool well, the sinanju was based on an old frame that wasn't optimised for the kit's added weight. The sazabi is using it's own newly engineered frame, so it won't have the same issues.
This Tallgeese is like a pack of awesomeness. It kind of makes that RG sinanju as a prototype and they try to experiment on the boosters such as the leg side boosters and backpack, which they have abit problem on those part like things fell off. And this one is the improve version of the boosters.
I think the reason why Bandai did away with the RG poseable hands is due to how finicky they can be, but I agree that they would be a nice addition to the kits.

The real plus with the stickers is that the Tallgeese is virtually white! what happens to stickers on white plastic? you can barely see the ugly outline of them compared to literally any other colour of plastic.
This design is absolutely my favorite NON-Gundam, Gundam design. I liked the original Tallgeese, too, but this was one of the few Gundam Wing designs I felt actually improved in Endless Waltz. I was never crazy with the recoloring of half the Gundams nor did I care for the "angel" version of Wing Zero. Tallgeese III, on the other hand, looked better than its predecessors. Another tip-off that this isn't Tallgeese III is the accent color on the limbs. It's yellow. Tallgeese III had BLUE accents on the limbs and a different style crest (more of a yellow trident versus solid, bent red rectangle) on the head. Tallgeese II, on the other hand, had blue TORSO components and a Gundam face with a "feathery yellow" crest. Still a beautiful version of Tallgeese I. About 8 minutes in, I finally realized what was going on here. The lack of a Mega Beam Cannon and the Epyon-style shoulder-mounted shield was the big clue. P.S. -- I prefer the reimagined Wing Zero shown in the video to what we got in the Endless Waltz anime. I have never liked those angel wings or the lack of red in that EW Zero design.
Sleeping Forest most people started with Wing, I personally started with G....which is arguably superior to Wing. I'm sorry but the reused animation, dumb characters, bad mobile suit design with the Wing Zero, the entire ending was a Char's Counterattack rip off, and EW and FT were the worst things to come out of Gundam.
557deadpool that's okay if you don't like the series that's fine just never forget the first time you watch Gundam cuz I wouldn't forget ever since that day Gundam has always been my favorite Mecha anime👍👌😄
Bahamut 8937 although in hindsight, I can't think of which is worse, the Wing anime or the Seed and Seed Destiny fanmade porn. At least with the porn I can spend a few minutes jerking off, I'm done and I got something out of it whereas with Wing it's just pure pain.
Given how the frame of the Tallgeese is separated into parts as opposed to pre-built as with previous RG's, I think I would now like to assume RG Double Zeta, Victory, and V2 are on the way, considering their ability to separate into different components is probably too difficult, if not impossible, to be done with pre-built frames (which I guess is where the RG Zeta suffers with its transforming gimmick). Of course, their frames better be really sturdy to support their gimmicks; I'm sure Bandai has learned from the RG Zeta already.
rg tallgeese is an awesome kit but there are two things that i don't like on it 1. this is a very solid kit, i mean solid as a rock that when you play it very often, you'll see some stress marks in the joints, specially the peg of the legs that connect onto the hips. 2. I don't know if it's the kit's problem or I'm just a dumb when building it but the white armor on the arm that is connected on the dark blue ball something shoulder, when I'm putting it on the frame of the arm, it is so damn hard like i almost break the frame because of that. It's like I'm building a bootleg kit on that part, because if you didn't put that perfectly, the ball shoulder something will not attach onto the arms because you'll also gona rotate it to be fully secured.
I picked this up as my first RG--well, close enough to this one, I got the TV Animation variant that swaps out a lot of those yellows for a more anime-accurate black. My main problem was just in how many decals it had--there's just so many, and my hands are REAL bad at applying decals this small. Fortunately, the Tallgeese doesn't really beg for them; the best part of the design to me has always been the stark minimalism, so not bothering with most of the decals and going for the anime-accurate pure white look does VERY well. A lot of the poseable skirt pieces ended up... a lot more floppy and less rigid for me. Not a problem with some creative posing, and it's probably my bad, but still.
@@gatomeong I think so! Even with the frustrations on some of the joints and decals, it still looks really good. Just... well, read the instructions VERY carefully.
I appreciated this review so much that I bought the EW version because of it but the backpack and side skirts are so floppy that I tried taking them apart and putting a thin layer of tamiya cement on the joints to dry and and they still won't stay open, just not enough surface area so can't be helped I guess. Also the segmented armor gimmick means that the arms will always be slightly bent and even with the lower back locking mechanism a stand is required, even without the backpack it can barely stand upright. The design has a particular when the thighs are splayed outward to the point where it can sit on its own heels but can't crouch even with the pegs for the side skirts removed and the peg attachment system pops out unless it is standing upright and you spin the nub halfway down the peg in the opposite position of the manual, but then that locks the thighs in a standing front-forward position which negates the swinging hip mechanic. I recommend museum putty if you're having the same experience
Man, the tallgeese is one of my favourite Mobile Suits from the Gundam franchise, and while I’ve wanted to get the mg for a long time, this review makes me want to pick this up far more!
As always!!! Great review... I am not that much of a fan of the Tallgeese... I like the Tallgeese 3 more... Mmmmm... Damn, and I also like the Epyon... But if there is one kit that would like to see in the RG line... That would be the Deathscythe Hell Custom... Oh Bandai... Please make it happen!!! Still!!! Great job, Mech!!! novatreebush that would be nice and hope they do it more often, cause I'll admit I'm not a fan of pink beam sabers, I always prefer green, blue, yellow, or heck even paint it black to give it a more non beam like look to it and more solid like the early 00 weaponry.
Hi I was wondering if you'll be doing a review on the soon to be released TV animation color version? I know it's just a color varient as far as I know but I love all things tallgeese and would love to see a comparison.
Bro if you dont mind, do you have any suggestions were i can go to learn how to put on decals? I got this kit a few months ago and i never put it together. I just wanna make sure i do my best. I have all the gundam markers i need and cutters. Im just unfamiliar with decals.
I’m putting this build together, but I’m having trouble the side skirt armor connecting the leg explained on 6:40 of this review. The peg doesn’t seem to reach the connecting hole on the side of the leg. Anyone got any advice? Because I think I’m at risk of breaking one of the peg connecting the skirt armor to the waist.

These remind me of the gundam wing models I got back in 2000, but a million times better.
Okay this is a must have on my list.
Would you recommend top coating this kit? The gloss white is so perfect but I'm planning on painting the inner frame.
I just finished building this. My first real grade. I wish every 1/144 model was real grade now lol.
I FELT that elbow bend!
Can't wait to get mines on tuesday 😮
This is making me more excited for the RG Sazabi
I actually really want an RG Psycho Zaku and the Full Armor Gundam. That would be so sick.
The thrusters on the outside of the backpack can be gotten even with the inner ones by pulling on those two fins lined with yellow
Rg Epyon!!! Im wating!!! 😂
Uhh the thumbnail changed to the tv version of the rg?
Yeah I think that’s the next review
Yea i was confused too,
This is an absolute joy to build
Nice review and the kit is just awesome but I 'd like the colour in TV series instead of EW
Any plans to review the new SD cross kits that are coming?
GUNPLA IS FREEDOM!!!!!!!!
Looks great defo getting this
You know, tallgeese has always looked cool
Dare I say that I love this kit more than my beloved rg Sazabi? Yes... It is absolutely amazing! Buy it now!
Why does the RG EW review suddenly have the TV version as its thumbnail?
Can you rank the RGs that you have reviewed from best to worst? Thanks! Very big fan of your work man
Bro if you dont mind, do you have any suggestions were i can go to learn how to put on decals? I got this kit a few months ago and i never put it together. I just wanna make sure i do my best. I have all the gundam markers i need and cutters. Im just unfamiliar with decals.
I’m putting this build together, but I’m having trouble the side skirt armor connecting the leg explained on 6:40 of this review. The peg doesn’t seem to reach the connecting hole on the side of the leg. Anyone got any advice? Because I think I’m at risk of breaking one of the peg connecting the skirt armor to the waist.
