The Marines have a saying:”Work the problem”. However, that implies you know what the actual problem is. Many times in life I misdiagnosed or misinterpreted the actual problem. I would jump to conclusions a lot. Just understanding the real problem, just that first step, can already solve a lot. I’m amazed how many times I made a mountain out of a mole hill in my head before I even got the facts about the real situation.

When you do this kind of collabs, I (and many others I guess) may not know who the collaborator is, so I think that it was a good move to introduce David, at the beginning of the video. I'd keep doing that in future collabs. It made me feel more connected to him - as if I knew him for a long time - and it also made me feel as if I was watching one of YOUR videos. Nice video! OnePercentBetter, I think this is a terrible video. One of the first things that GetThePicture says is that stoicism is about taking a piece of shit, putting it on a cone and getting chocolate ice cream. This is like bringing in a deer and calling it a horse. Thinking that a piece of shit is ice cream because you put it on a cone does not change the fact that it is disgusting. The thumbnail for this video in GetThePicture's channel says "Eat your shit and move on" and another video made by him called "How to find YOUR values in life" has an image of a dick on its thumbnail. This video does not provide an accurate image of stoicism or "The Obstacle is The Way", and instead just reduces it into something like "Shit happens, be tough and deal with it". While stoicism urges us to see that situations in life are only good or bad because of our perception and circumstances, Ryan Holiday says nothing about turning shit into ice cream. GetThePicture uses a lot of harsh and offensive language trying to tell people to be better. That is why I do not recommend him.
