      Good video, +FightMediocrity!
I do miss when you were the sole narrator. I felt like your unique teaching style really made you stand out from all the other narrator / animation channels. Your content is still as good, but I feel like I'm missing out on being taught by you and your experience.
One idea might be to have you introduce them in the beginning and finish it in the end. Just a thought, but I'd prefer you become the narrator and story teller again.

I absolutely love Ryan's writing. The Obstacle is the way turned me. It gave me a shift in perception of how I ought to address/view my own Obstacle. It's full of life changing messages, impressive quotes, mind blowing examples of those who has been beset by Obstacle. Ryan speak about perception, action and will. He is my most lovely authors. I choose him as a mentor. Thanks for the video.

Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, expressed it this way: "The way out is the way through", and whenever I encounter a problem or a difficulty I stop to look for the opportunity contained in it, and how avoiding it or condemning it is to lose, but how embracing it and going thru it is but another path towards my enlightenment.

I used to check your channel everyday waiting for a new video. You are the best in what you do. And nowadays, sad but I don't feel very connected to your videos. I remember watching all your videos back to back in one day. I was so connected to them. Maybe its your audio speed, or maybe its the proper timing of an image and the audio. I have just come back after like 4-5 weeks just to post this comment just in case someone else felt the same way too. I think you can tell by how many people viewed your video. I hope you can bring back that old way of not only summarizing the book in your one of a kind way, but making the video move (bring an image every few seconds). Other than that, I really pray that you keep growing. Your channel is a life changer. - your FAN

This video is what got me hooked to your channel, through which I've discovered so many enriching books and discussions. Great job!
I recently went to a talk by Ryan Holiday related to this book, and I really appreciate the sober, practical approach he promotes. So many other "self-help" books discussed here are so fantastically optimistic about everything, but the thoughts summarised here can really help you improve in a more natural way - one day at a time.
This doesn't mean that you can't think big or be optimistic - one of the key takeaways of this book. Highly recommended!

I like that you're trying something new. Like someone else said, it removes you as the bottle neck. however I think you've lost the feel of "your product". You are your product. A couple of these speakers just aren't jiving well as you can tell from comments. Maybe you can give them a script or something. Add your background music that s reminiscent of you and your past videos. Just seeing your hand in the video every now and then doesn't seem to cut it. Maybe guest speakers should be less frequent. Once a month or every couple of months. Just thought I'd add to the feedback :)

There's nothing wrong with mediocrity. What b.s. to vilify stability, the groundwork used by others to catapult. Sometimes mediocrity makes people happy not stupid or inferior.
After reading several self help and career books, it became my mantra to find the career suited to personality and strengths. I said to a postal worker, "You can design a life by planning, wealth by career ladders, success from failures." She said, "I like my life. I work a monotonous job to make money and then enjoy myself when I get home and go on vacations. Mediocrity is what I want in a job. I don't need purpose everywhere - only in my personal time."
Me? I need purpose in a job. I need to know the world got better after my eight hours which is why I went into healthcare. But it was b.s. for me to imagine everyone feels that way ... or even SHOULD feel that way. MEDIOCRITY is not an enemy, except for maybe YOU. ;)

To whoever is complaining about "the new guy's voice", FightMediocrity is all about providing knowledge. We don't come here to get mental masturbated by the owners voice. This "new guy" is the author and I doubt anyone would be able to create a much better video than him. Unless you're here to get mental masturbated by some sexy voice then I think your priorities in self-development is not in order.
To the owner of this channel, people don't like change. So it's normal to receive these kind of "we want you back" feedback. Keep up the outsourcing! That's what real business owners do.

At 4:40 "things bigger than us", does this mean things like the collective good, the well-being of all living creatures etc? That's how I interpreted it but I'm not sure. As for the rest, I've pretty much lived by this for years. Wasn't aware there was a term for it.

So how does one practice stoic optimism and be certain they are not just being complacent. This seems like something that should come naturally for it to be healthy.

Great video as always. But Rommels is an...interesting (?) pick in this list of great stoic personalities. Is he a stoic is the sense of "Hitler's politics is what it is, I use this war to be the best military leader possible."? That would be quite a counter argument for stoicism.

Bro ive been here for years now. I come back to these and have acquired a couple books of my own.
1 thing that is not spoken on that i find a challenge often, is how can you be so ambitious, Success orientated and driven, yet hold down a relationship?
Is it as simple as you Dont or Can't you should be single? Or is there a mindset i need to indulge in?

I bought the audiobook read by the author. I think this is a great book for young people who haven't experienced real challenge. I didn't like this book for myself. If you know how to turn lemons into lemonade this is not for you.

Honestly one of the greatest books I have every read. Inspired me to make a whiteboard style video of my own on the art of turning obstacles into advantages.
