This house has curb appeal. It may be attached, but you'd hardly know it. In the US, a "cottage" is thought of as small and snug, but this place is spacious in every way. The front garden is nicely landscaped, but the real treat is the enormous, very private back garden with all its shrubs, trees, walkways and secret nooks. The beams add to the charm of the interior, and although the layout may not be ideal it's still functional. The owner's clutter makes it difficult to appreciate all the space. I know nothing about the location, but it seems you'd get a lot for the money!
I don't envy them packing to move, they have so much stuff that it really makes it hard to see the space. I wouldn't dream of putting my house on the market without a good clear out and tidy up first. But yes very charming as the description says.
