  • This is a simple way to create bouncy, curly embellishments for your crochet work. For added texture, try changing the stitch you use, or how many stitches into each st.

My 2 and 4 year old nephews started pulling out yarn pieces from the pompom on their hats I made them AS SOON they got them. This would be a cute, young, and fun alternative to finish a chid’s hat. I plan on using this for the future!

I made these for my daughter over 40 years ago! The only difference was that I had 20 or so (?) chains in the middle of two curly cues (on each end) to tie onto her ponytail. I was searching here for a tutorial that showed how many chains to start with to achieve my old pattern. Your tutorial gives me a basis to figure one out. Thank you or this video! I love it! I have subscribed to your channel!

Going to be using these for tentacles on an octopus plush I hand knitted with some nice plush baby yarn (about an inch wide, I need a 20 mm hook!)

I find that when I’m done , I take a pencil or similar and wind the curl around it and it jumps right back into shape!

I absolutely love your quality of video but it would be awesome if you slowed it down a bit for beginners. Your fingers work like lightning fast and it was hard to keep up and see what exactly you are doing. Are you working into the stitch and then the gap and then into the next stitch? It's super hard to see.

Hi Amber I’d just like to know what size hook you used for this ? I’m using a double knitting yarn :)
