- By request, I've got a crochet tutorial to make a small bowl. The trick to creating a bowl or basket with a rounded bottom (instead of a flat bottom) is to adjust the number of increases per round. Enjoy the video!

You're right, this would be perfect for Barbies! I'd stopped playing with Barbies by the time I learned to crochet, but if I hadn't I would've have made so many crochet accessories for them 😄
OMG! Finally, a woman who chains like me! I’m self taught and I tried many times to chain by using the tension on my left hand, but my fingers wouldn’t go that way. And I have much better control when I chain as you are chaining and the chains come out even. I knew I was doing it “wrong”, but now I’m no longer ashamed😀. And I think doing it that way you put less strain on your hand. A few long-time crocheters I know had an operation on the left hand because of the strain.
You're not alone! I never could get the right tension either without moving the yarn with my left hand. And hey if it works, I say it's not wrong! 😄
I'm brand new to crochet, but the way you guys chain reminds me of knitting. I've knitted for over 10 years and seeing this video made me want to try this style out to see if it helps me too. I struggle with even chains but I've gotten a little better with the practice I've put in
