To be clear, the goal of this video was to inform people of how they *could* potentially use this skill. The scenario I chose obviously requires a lot of pre-requisites for it to be used like so (V Matrix slots to have both Venom Burst AND Erda Shower, both skills being leveled up very high, Erda Shower not 1 shotting, but deals enough damage for Venom Burst active to finish off the remainder, Erda Shower hitting enough mobs for its cooldown to be reduced enough for it to be available again for the next wave of monsters, etc etc). In the video, I suggested trying it out for yourself. I mentioned that you may find that you may not need to invest a large amount of nodes for this combo to work out for you. This is a video (streamable.com/9mgsc5) where I am in my training setup and using the combo with LEVEL ONE Venom Burst AND Erda Shower in a map where I am 50 SAC below. The monsters are just barely alive. This demonstration isn't perfect, but I want to highlight that if you were to have greater SAC Force or Arcane Force, a bit more investment into the two nodes, you could still achieve some good results. I'm well aware of the fact that Venom Burst has been in a really bad state since release. I personally have not seen much discussion of this skill and its applications in scenarios where it would be *good* to use it. This was my attempt at showing the community that there is more to this skill than meets the eye. If you were to ask me how I would buff this skill, I think simply adding the option to toggle the active to proc passively (and does not interrupt you from casting other skills) would make it decent.
I’ve been low key saving my venom burst nodes in case they get a massive buff. I’ll probably never use it though because xenon’s require more node slots than most classes.
