    Good information. One observation is that between 2021-2024, Indian Rupee nosedived from ₹74.50 to ₹85.25 incurring a big loss.

    Nifty 50 and S&p 500 5 year return seem to be more or less the same but the rupee depreciation gets you much higher return in USA. Also there are various tax benefits of investing in usa if us tax resident.

    Most of the NRI only say about the benefits being in India, it's good that you have said about being NRI benefits

    Great info. How did you find this info? What account do you suggest or use? The account I use in India is not aware about all these regulations and loopholes

      I hear you and your 100% right. Not many accountants in India know NRI practices. You can look at changing your accountant.🙏

    One major question for a person moving to India is , if you are in India whole year how will you be eligible to get social security , plus how to withdraw living abroad

    • @myNRILife

      Very good question @Raj7321-w6p . To be eligible for social security benefit from USA you must have worked in USA for 10 years, US citizen is not required. If that is true then you are eligible for social security benefit. Please also refer to www.ssa.gov/international/payments.html?tl=0
      for more information.

    Great video sir. At what networth you decided for R2I?

    • @myNRILife

      Thank you for appreciating my work. This is a great question as R2I should happen with the right financial strength and it varies from person to person. But try to pay off loans, have a fully paid house, liquid assets more than 6 mo expenses. That's a start.. Hope this helps. Stay connected. 🙏

    sir what about when time to sell an property by nri in india needs to pay 23% tax for Indians it is only 1% ,
    and GST on transferring money to overseas , thanks

    • @myNRILife

      Hi @nickk3331. 23% TDS is a myth many NRI's have. Yes TDS is deducted but it can be claimed back when you file for tax return in India. I have done this so telling you by experience. Please consult a CA for best clarity. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for your question. 🙏

      Sir as an non citizen or OCI holder you can invest in mutual funds in India. The FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) governs NRI investments in India. Regarding mutual fund investments, FEMA allows NRIs and PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin) to invest in such schemes in India. However, you would have to adhere to the FEMA rules to invest.
      Iske liye best option is to consult a bank that handles NRI accounts and they will do you KYC and also guide on investment options.
      Please refer to this article:

      Hope this helps. Thank you so much for your question. Appreciate it. 🙏

    Stock growth data is incorrect. S&P growth 12% CAGR and NASDAQ 15% CAGR

      According to Investopedia average S&P 500 CAGR for 20 years is 8.3%. In any case my thought would be to look have a portion of your portfolio invested in India, not full. www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/042415/what-average-annual-return-sp-500.asp

      @@myNRILife Thank you, I have many doubts.
      1} If I will open NRO account and I am getting 30k as a rent then how much tax should I pay to India or liable ?
      2) I invested money in India many years ago as per this person If someone is not in india for 180 days then they do not have to pay any tax ?
