New subscriber here looking forward to seeing your progress. I think being originally fitted with the BW transfer case they never had the provision to indicate the centre diff lock being engaged on the dashboard.
Hi and thank you for subscribing. The instrument cluster does have a logo for a diff lock. I haven't checked yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if the instrument cluster was the same for soft dash disco and RRC. I will check the part numbers at some point. Most likely it was just the wiring harness that was different.
Yes pretty sure it's the same instrument cluster as on the 1994 facelift discovery 1 which would make sense for having the light on the dashboard. Whether it has the wiring in the loom though I would be very interested to find out. My RRC is currently in the garage for MOT work so I can't check myself maybe RAVE might have the answer.
@@anti-social-media Well, my car has a wiring connector for the diff lock switch. I don't know though if when the engine and gearbox was fitted they have added that in, or swapped a loom or anything yet. All I do know is the light didn't come on, for now at least. Now I actually have the linkage working, I might revisit it. Busy doing the rear floor and cross member at the moment with it.
@@MregRangieResto-t1e did it say whether it was a full length adventure roof rack or just bars🤔 Raptor paint can cover up a multitude of bodwork ‘problems’
Just checking comments can be added. 🤔

Could the roof have been U Pol -'Raptor' paint?
Hi Mike, possibly. Not sure. Looking through the owners manual it came with, the car has had a roof rack on at some point so who knows.

@@mikeshacklock6208 didn't say, just the roof load limit was underlined.
