First thank you for another amazing and unique audio. The SciFi/Fantasy/Romantic lover in me leaped for joy over this. It was quite relaxing to listen to. The storyline and characters were written wonderfully with such a heartwarming ending. She bought peanut butter cups and met a man named Reeses....lol I love it. The final edit with the sound effects is pure chef's kiss and I enjoyed listening to every moment of it💗
Sci-fi is so fun! I enjoyed this little tale. I think you did a wonderful job with the characterization of both Kai and Reese. It's also a really good meditation to try to search for different meaning regarding memories that cause grief. The memories had an impact for a reason. Thank you.
We often can't choose what happens to us. Sometimes, we can't even choose how we react to things. But memories - what we choose to carry with us, what we choose to leave behind, how we feel about what has happened and how we learn... we have a shot at changing that.
It was intended to be a standalone - listener's course was corrected, it's now up to them. Further story might feel a little "flat" given Kai's no longer in the picture.
Ohh, this is so different from all the other asmr roleplays I've listened to. And I've listened to quite a lot since I first discovered this is a thing. But the story is definitely fascinating and original. I don't eat sweets much or reese for that matter, but I wouldn't mind snacking on that man- I mean peanut butter cups.
LOL, I have seen a few people say similar things - which is funny given the little amount of dialogue he has. Or perhaps it's that he came pre-vetted by some disembodied voice...
