    Thanks for watching! Few of you have asked about the straight edge I used to align the hinges, called a Safecut Ruler by FastCap, amzn.to/2sdGHrI
    And the wife thought it would be a good idea to put these in here in case anyone was interested!

    Could you go more into detail of how you mounted them to the wall? Did you add those cleats after the cabinet was in place because I didn’t see them added in the video. Did you consider putting a back to it? What was your reasoning not to? I’m about to start the same project and I’m wondering if 1/4 plywood would be a good choice for backing.

    So glad I tuned into this video. I just ordered the q5 system and was planning on using the same primer / paint for a built in closet system. A couple of questions. 1. What temp did you spray in? 2. Did you have to do a lot of sanding when using a waterborne product on wood? 3. Did you use the stock 1.3 tip in your sprayer? So glad no thinning is necessary.

    • @DIYTyler
      @DIYTyler  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dave, didn't respond at first cause I needed to run out and check my sprayer, than I forgot!
      Sprayed pretty cold, about 50 degrees f.
      Not a lot of sanding, after primer a quick pass with 220 and clean with a tack cloth.
      Yes, used the 1.3 on my gun and no thinking...didn't see a need!

    • @daveerickson5313
      @daveerickson5313 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tyler G rock n roll thank you for the response. I’m spraying a test on Monday and this will really help. Sounds like things should work out fine for me. The finish on your lockers looked great. Luckily it’ll be warmer here in MN next week. I have a furnace in the garage, but much easier to get up to temp when it’s not 10 below. I appreciate your time and enjoy your channel.
