I don't think people understand the amount of detailed information crammed into this 12 minutes video! This is so awesome. He points you in all the right directions. Thanks man.
Thank you for this information, very helpful. I'm starting my own Virtual Tour business and hosting was a hurdle for me, thanks for helping me jump over it.
@bldtv7038 did you figure this out yet? I'm curious how you managed this. I'm a small photographer looking to start offering 3dvista but the high hosting fees made me start searching for other options. What did you decide to do?
@@JustAnotherChannel100 Hi. I figured it out yes. I took the 1gb storage limit offered by 3dvista. The saving and hosting is easily done. The solution tbh is compression. You’ll need to compress your 360 images to a level that they don’t lose their quality. That’s a trick in itself btw with a lot of testing and uploading to determine results, I was able to fit appropriately fifty 360 images to the 1gb allowance.
Got it figured out, for some reason the instance did not deploy correctly and failed to create the /opt/bitnami/wordpress/ directory. Deleted the instance and started over. Learned that ~/wordpress/ has been moved out of ~/apps/ in 6.*.* so just created the ~/VirtualTours/ at /opt/bitnami/wordpress/VirtualTours/.
Good question! We’re just using it as a server so it doesn’t really matter, it just needs to run our Wordpress site ans have some storage. Windows instances are usually more expensive.
Hi Felix, I am struggling to access htdocs as my files seem to be arranged in a different format. Also, could you make a video on a way to host on EC2 instance as lightsail instances are limited to Wordpress websites.

No prob! Good luck
i would make so much thanks to your tutorial, this was so helpful for a newbe hosting their virtual tour. wish you good luck always
3dvista hosting costs nearly $400 per year for a measly 1GB storage. It is not expensive. It is commercially prohibitively unaffordable.
😂😂😂

@@joshuagoodfellow7554 thanks!!, this really helped me. How did you go about the ? I can't find the htaccess file
While creating an instance on lightsail, why is your platform Linux and not Microsoft windows since your computer looks like windows to me?
