V good tips! You're right about breaking things down. I think one of the best ways to practice for any musician is to record yourself, note areas for improvement, then drill the problem areas. 99% of us who aren't amazing talents need to step back to notice where we can improve. We can't just keep practicing on instinct.
I’ve been sick all month and my voice is trying to go out on me right now, so I’ve been watching these to get back in once my voice is feeling better. Thanks for these, I certainly use everything you have taught!
The best thing I've learned to do ( I know it sounds crazy) is to be able to talk to my voice. I made him a partner in sound production rather than just an instrument I pick up and play. If he's telling me "I need a rest" he gets it. If he says "I'm up for this" we do it. He's not the same as I get older, and neither am I.
