A Kind of Adventurous Life is a kind of adventurous TH-cam channel about the everyday adventures of 15-year-old Kirikou (and his favourite brother Nanook). Sometimes also featuring their dad. Currently their adventures take place mostly in Finland and Hungary.

Nanook wears the blue nit cap which used to be worn by Kirikou when Nanook has been small baby years ago. I felt a kind of nostalgia.✨

Yes! So true! When you are on a ferry from Sweden to Finland you buy candy :) That is the first thing we looked forward to doing as kids when we went on the ferry from Sweden to Finland traveling from the US to visit our grandparents in Helsinki. We were so excited to go visit the candy stores and get our favorite candy that we hadn’t had for a while. Even as an adult the first thing I want when I got off the plane in Finland is to get Finnish chocolate and salmiakki 💕

So good to hear how you are doing in this crazy Covid time. I'm sure it was a hard decision to have to split the family again for awhile, but it's good that you have the option to return to Finland right now. It was so interesting seeing the logistics of your trip, the long drive, the two ferries. I'm sure you will be glad to be out of the car now!
My Finnish language studies coincidentally started when I discovered your 'Learning Finnish with a toddler' series and your videos have been inspiring ever since. It's so great to hear real life conversations, and with subtitles, much easier to remember words in action this way. Plus your family is simply adorable :) Thank you for your works!

Haha, the true test that a kid is truly Finnish. They taste salmiakki for the first time and say it tastes good 😊❤ Give salmiakki to children from other countries and they will spit it out and look at you like you just murdered their favorite kitten 😂

Kirikou is so good with Nanook! Nanook is cute as ever, but he is growing too fast! That was a crazy long drive. I would have been miserable. The boys did well!

What a wonderful video. It’s nice to see you had a reasonably good trip back to Finland. Riding on ferry boats is great because you can get up and move around! I love the candy shop, too. I wish we had salt licorice in the United States! It’s delicious, but I don’t think many Americans would like it.
This has got to be the hardest time to have a vlog, when the whole world is shut down with Covid. But you have managed to make it interesting. I would love to take this trip by train. Have a nice time in Finland!

I have been in Poland once for a few days, traveled around and I liked it so much and plan to go back to see more of the country when everything gets normal again! Hopefully soon! It was nice to take part in your roadtrip!

Poor kids. I imagine this is hard on them what’s going on! As much as I miss seeing videos posted they should be be spending time at school and with friends. I am adult and the situation is even hard on me. For example, I tried doing online another year but motivation is at an all time low and withdrew until next semester. I need to take at least one class on campus so, next semester if my school lets me go even for a few hours I will consider trying again.

It’s always so weird that when you are both at this age the difference is big between you. But when you will be 30 and 40 respectively, there is as much as no difference of age any more.
It was a big surprise for me this information about your move back to Finland....
But I agree with you that Hungary is a very boring place in the current situation, because everything is closed....
In one of your videos, when you said you were moving to Hungary, I wrote to you that you would do better to stay in Finland because Finland is a much better place than Hungary. I don't know if you read this message?

So covid is bad in Europe ??
The numbers are pretty high and in Many countries there's barely enough vaccines to give to frontline workers. UK is currently vaccinating almost everyone, while in Poland they're currently giving shots to people age 60+
@@grapefruit1992 we aren't vaccinating almost everyone, our plan is to vaccinate everyone
it could be worse so they put some lockdowns etc to keep it on acceptable levels so there is not overload on hospitals etc.
