Been doing this for 3 weeks now, 5 days a week. I lost 8 pounds. I feel great and can go the whole 30 minute without stopping. Plus I limit my food intake. Thanks for the video.
Been doing this on and off, lost my way and gained about 50 pounds over the last 3 years due to stress and bad personal relationship decisions, this is giving me hope to get back into shape before it’s to late. So far every other day for a week now, mentally feel better for sure. Waiting patiently to notice a difference in my clothes fitting. As normally my body can lost weight really fast, and also gain to. I appreciate you uploading this workout
Thank you for taking out the ads in the middle! I have been doing this workout for 8 months, 2 - 3 times a week and it's kept my heart healthy. I haven't been able to run and this is keeping up my fitness level. Thank you very much for your content!
I'm 5'8" and weigh 208lbs at 64 years old. I did your 20 minute rowing yesterday for 42 minutes. I did it 2 and 1/2 times and loved it. Today I tried your 30 minute elliptical and saw my heart rate go up to 168bpm. Can't remember seeing it work so hard. Looking forward to continuing these workouts in the future. Cheers
I'd like to thank you for sharing this workout! I've been doing it for 2 weeks now, every day, I've lost 8,2 lb. I can do it completely now.. at the beginning, it was hard, but now I can do it better. I also reduced my food intake. The hardest part was leaving the bed at 6 am and starting, but now it's ok. I do it before eating anything and I don't eat for 90 min after finishing. Thank you! (I am sorry for my bad English).
I've been doing the 20 minute workouts and when I found this one I thought I would give it a try. When I got to the 7th or 8th round I thought there's no way I can do this but I thought only 2 more rounds to go I got this! And I did.
I love this work out because when it’s nice out, I can use the format to go on a run walk. I am kind of addicted to it. I love sharing it with my friends.
I've been using the elliptical for years but never tried to do a HIIT workout on one. Wow, this really challenged me! Last 3 rounds were definitely the hardest but you kept me going Dr. Kevin!
The hardest is the first and 6th round, but from there I become really energized. This is by far the best HIIT video on TH-cam. The timer really helps me stay focused. It’s surprising how many videos don’t have that feature. I’m on day 2 of my 4th week, I’ll update my progress in June. Thank you for making this accessible ♥️
Oh my!!! A 30 min one too!! You are killing it! The machine I use automatically sets to 30 so this is perfect. Cannot wait to workout today!! This next 30 lbs is going to shed right off. ❤️ HIIT workouts and good diet are the only things that work successfully for me! I have type 1 diabetes and hypothyroidism. Thank you Dr. Kevin!
63 yrs old, in decent shape, not much overweight but would love to lose 10 lbs. I love HIIT workouts, and this one is great. Plan to do 3x wk along with my gym classes. Doing dry January - workouts are imperative! Glad to have found you!!
Good morning I have been utilizing your HIIT since March, 2020. Thank you for such an invigorating experience. Is it possible that you come up with a 40 minute Elliptical Insane Workout? All the best to you and your family.
For the last 5 years I’ve been through a health crisis, my Rhuematoid arthritis got really bad then I had a stroke caused by plaque build up in the right carotid artery in my neck. After my operation 2 years ago I decided to completely alter my diet and exercise. I was 14st 2lbs, 5 feet 9 inch, a bmi of 29.4. I bought an elliptical trainer and found some videos on TH-cam. Wow when I first completed the 1st 20 min HIIT workout by Dr Kevin I thought it was too much.... but kept going. Then after about 2 months of doing it 3 the times a week I found the 30 min workout and I REALLY had to give it everything. But the difference is amazing. I feel I’ve left everything on that machine afterwards. Btw I now weigh 11stone 5 lbs and my BMI is 23.4. Great! Big thanks to Dr Kevin for the motivation in this workout to keep going.
I know this video is old but I'm so glad I found it. I work for a sheriff's department and we required to do a PT test every year ........part of which is a 1.5 mile run in under 13:53 (for my age group). I have been struggling with back issues my entire life so that has made running (especially the last few years) VERY difficult to impossible. This workout saved me from failing the run. Thank you so much man!
I've been doing this exact workout for about a year now and Ive never been healthier. I think the reason this workout is so great is because it breaks 30 minutes down into increments with upbeat music to keep up the motivation. A year ago, if someone asked me if i could do a high intensity workout on an eliptical for 30 mins i wouldve told them no way. But because it was broken down so well and predictably, i just had to focus on what i was doing in the next minute. Great job, and i hope to see more videos like this one.
Whew, that was a blessing this morning! I almost gave up at the 5th and 8th interval but I’m so glad that I persevered!!! Thanks for a terrific workout!
I love it, my only critique would be to time the music to 120 bpm during the push sections for more audio focused workout people like myself. Some times it's better to pace towards the music instead of counting in my head.
I've been doing this workout for a while now. 30 min hiit 3 times a week; every time it takes insane effort to complete but the best hiit workout ever. Thanks Dr Kevin! You keep me motivated
Just found this workout and wow! Thank you. I’m just starting out so the first 3 were ok and the rest were all challenging for me. I hope to get better as time goes. Have a Merry Christmas and happy new year 🎊
Thanks! Today was my 3rd day doing the 30 min. Insane elliptical work-out. And I'm planning on doing it for the next 14 days. The most intense round for me was every single one. If you really give it your all it almost feels like 90 seconds are not enough for you to catch your breath, but, once you hit it hard again you forget about not being able to catch your breath. I love it! Now if you excuse me I have a bet to win. See you tomorrow night. Thanks for the awesome video. 👌
Thank you Dr. Kevin! I appreciate your instructive elliptical HIIT videos. Began losing a ton of weight after a close brush with death and an unexpected emergency surgery in June 2022 and since lost 43 lbs. E-biking till November and then bought a used NordicTrack 11.7 elliptical and have continued the journey into the winter past Christmas and continue to show progress. Thankful to God and thankful I stumbled across your videos!
I just did this for the first time. as a fitness instructor I do a lot of fitness classes on an every day basis, some high intensity, and some low. I like my elliptical call for the low impact workouts. This was fun and challenging and the time went by very fast great workout. I will continue to do this one.
I love your workouts !we just recently got an elliptical machine and been doing these 2 to 3 days a week with strength training in between, definitely seeing results 💪🏼 . I’m starting to go backwards on the 90 seconds rest recovery and I really feel the burn I absolutely love it 🔥
I have been doing this for over a year and the benefits are amazing. My depression has subsided and I have been able to reduce my mental health meds with the supervision of my provider. My recent bloodwork was amazing. I am 68 and the doctor was amazed. My health has improved and I have more energy. I want to keep going with HIIT forever.
Love this workout! So glad I found it. Exercise is usually boring for me, but I love class formats. This was fun and went by super fast. I am 56 and need to get back on track so I can enjoy my retirement when I get there. So I’ve been back at it for the past three days (although I have always trail hiked). I am enjoying being back exercising and this one is definitely a keeper. 😄 Thank you!
You're so welcome Lauri! Thanks for sharing. Yes you definitely want to get back at it for retirement :) Where do usually trail hike at? I've only done a few excursions myself.
@@AbundantYou So sorry, I totally missed your question. I have an Ice Age Trail that runs along our property. Whenever we camp, we find local trails to hike as well. Thanks again for this workout. I love it!
Great workout. I've been doing the 20 minutes one for a few months now and didnt dare try this one. Il so happy I did. I feel so great! The most challenging round for me was round 9 because I thought the 20min workout ends up there. Thank you Dr Kevin !
I was a track and XC runner in high school and college...this workout reminded me of those 400 intervals we used to do...loved it! Thanks for the challenge!
I really enjoy this HIIT workout. I’ve been doing it for a few years now and it never disappoints. I get a true workout and a challenge which I love! Thank you for producing this for us!!
Brilliant Workout. So much fun in a sick way. Level 8 was hardest. Enjoyed it so much I didn’t realise I had finished and the warm down had started. WELL DONE.
4 months alternating between steady state elliptical and your 30mins hiit program accompanied by cleaner food intake has resulted loss of 40 lbs for me. Thank you for the incredibly effective program
I have been doing this since I purchased a proform elipitical / recumbent bike. I love this workout . I have worked my way up from the 10 to 15/ now 20 minute workout! I love this workout thank you Dr. Kevin ! My 59 yr old body is starting to look good
Love it! I usually do this and do 12 rounds of hitting the bag. You will lose weight and build your cardiovascular strength. I recommend you this 3 or 4 times a week.
I went from push mower to rider this summer and I was struggling to get weight off and keep it off. I use my elliptical but wasn’t getting enough from it. This video has kicked up my work out several notches. I’m 61 yrs young and I’m gradually adding resistance. Only been a week I’ll report back in a month with progress. Thanks for your videos doc!
I’ve done quite a few of the 20 minute workouts and on the last one I thought I could go a few more rounds! Today I saw this video, and managed the whole thing! Having you saying we’re doing great and how many rounds left really helped me through!
This exercise is a beast! First time ever doing your elliptical 30 minutes I wanted to quit on round 7, but I finished all 12 rounds!!! Thank you so much for creating this program. My body is in total sweat mode, yet I am thinking about the huge benefits!!!!!
I love these HIIT videos. I alternate the elliptical and the rowing machine ones 6 days a week. The only thing that bugs me is the commercials in the rowing machine video. Thank you for helping to keep me in shape.
This was amazing! This is my favorite elliptical hit workout I’ve done! I’ll be doing this 2-3 days a week depending on other workouts I do. Thank you so much for making this!
Age 66. weighed 200.4 fifteen days ago, weighed 193 today. Doing this routine 2-3 times per week and weight training on alternate days. 1-2 resting days per week as well. Doing Noom for my diet. TY for this awesome workout!
Thanks Dr for sharing this HIIT. I am a student and don't really want to apply much brains as to what workout to do till my final exams and this one is my present favourite and suits my body type. Started with 58 kg 1 week back. Now 56.5 kg ( I do this during my fasting period and yes have adopted clean eating.) Target weight- 49 kg
You are a blessing. I have been doing 60 mins flat. But switched to HII, suffering now😅 I also follow the heart beat on recovery, when comes down to ~120 I give it a 30 sec go again not recovery for 90 seconds.
Thank you Hakan! I'm gald you're enjoying the workout so much! Make sure to allow your rest periods to be however long they need to be so you can fully burst into the next round at 100%. Keep me updated! Good luck! 👍😀
Excellent workout! I can feel the burn and my heart rate was elevated to my max. Instructions are very focused and motivating. Earlier have tried 20 mins elliptical. Today I did 30 mins, and really enjoyed it.
Awesome workout. I’m currently cross training on the elliptical machine, as I recover from my running knee injury. I’ve been doing this workout twice per session, with 90 seconds easy at resistance 12 and 30 seconds hard at resistance 16. During the easy sections, I still focus on keeping my HR high, usually going from 160 HR during easy to 175-180 during hard.
DR.KEVIN!!!!!!YOU ARE AN AWSOME MOTIVATOR!!!! i just discovered this kind of workout, and even if this one is pushing me to my limit, it is part of my gym sessions kow, and I enjoy the feeling when.I got it!!!!! Thanks a lot
Really enjoyed it! It’s an awesome way to change things up in the gym. I like how you didn’t fill every second with talking. Some instructors seem to be uncomfortable with some silence. I like some, allows me to concentrate and think about whatever is on my mind. Will definitely do more of your workouts!
This is my first time doing this Hiit working I would have to say awesome cardio workout. I think the last 3 rounds were challenging, but I pushed through.
Dr Kevin, I've been doing your 30 min Insane elliptical HIIT every Monday and Friday, your 30 min insane stationary cycling HIIT every Wednesday. They're fun and quick. I'd say the toughest ones are the middle 3 or 4 (5-6-7-8). Plus, I've added a 25lb weight vest for the elliptical. The extra weight doesn't "seem" to make it more stressful but I get an extra 5 bpm on average. Thanks for the workouts.
One of the best workouts I have done, not just HIIT but overall. It gets pretty challenging as you go up the rounds. My cardiovascular performance has improved since I have started this workout.
Round 1 definitely the most challenging. I haven't done any hiit workouts lately so was a but out of shape. I forgot how hard they were. I guess it's like having kids. You forget how hard it is. If you remembered nobody would have more than 1 🙂. Great video Kevin thanks 👍
Can you do 45 minute workouts? I’d love one for elliptical, treadmill, stair master, and bike. Even an hour workout with a combo of some of these would be nice!!!
Merhaba dr Kevin. Ben 45 yaşımdayım. 80 Kg :) haftada 3-4 gün 30 dk eliptik bisiklet workout yapıyorum. Dr kontrolğne gittim. kalp doktoru kalbin harika gördüğüm en sağlıklı kalp dedi. Senin sayende oldu teşekkür ederim. Hello Dr Kevin. I am 45 years old. I do 30 minutes elliptical bike workout 3-4 days a week. I went to the dr control. The heart doctor said your heart is amazing, the healthiest heart I've ever seen. Thanks to you, thank you.
Just came across your workouts. Been doing the treadmill 30 HIIT for a couple of weeks. I do HIIT workouts with my other activities, so I Increased the intervals to 1 minute and rest for the remaining time. Great workout, thanks for sharing. 💪
My husband and I got an elliptical for Christmas and decided to get back into working out today. I stumbled across this video and decided to give it a shot. I was almost tripping on my tongue halfway through the workout. I had to get off the elliptical for a bit in order to continue. I just finished and I'm sweating and shaky. I definitely missed this. I'm looking forward to meeting my fitness goals with the help of your videos. Thanks!
Good workout. I’ve been doing it for six months now three times a week. Now have a VO2 Max of 41. Try it breathing in and out through your nose rather than exhaling through your mouth. Slightly tougher.
I was doing the 20 minutes work out which is great. Recently I began to this 30 minutes workout. This workout is exceptional. I began to see great results the 1st. 3 days in terms of body appearance and weight loss. Continue doing what you are doing. You are doing an excellent job and I thank you.
Thank you , I put this workout on a USB Stick and play it on my TV a few times each week. I feel invigorated after the workout and the encouragements are worth being mentioned. Thank you for being the kind and selfless person that you are. May God bless you and your household Dr. Kevin

This video has kicked up my work out several notches. I’m 61 yrs young and I’m gradually adding resistance. Only been a week I’ll report back in a month with progress. Thanks for your videos doc!
This was great. I felt the burn and I loved it. This was my second time doing it this week
Great job Tattianna! You'll be seeing results from this workout in no time! Keep it up!
I’ve done quite a few of the 20 minute workouts and on the last one I thought I could go a few more rounds! Today I saw this video, and managed the whole thing! Having you saying we’re doing great and how many rounds left really helped me through!
Love all your elliptical workouts but this one is my favourite. Gives me just enough rest time to then work hard on the 30sec rounds. 🔥
Dr Kevin, I still use your HIIT videos 3 times a week. Thank you, you did a great job! I use the elliptical one the most. Please make more.
Round 10 is the most difficult for me. Love your HIIT workouts!
Awe thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Age 66. weighed 200.4 fifteen days ago, weighed 193 today. Doing this routine 2-3 times per week and weight training on alternate days. 1-2 resting days per week as well. Doing Noom for my diet. TY for this awesome workout!
Amazing 👏
Well-done
🎉
Thanks Dr for sharing this HIIT. I am a student and don't really want to apply much brains as to what workout to do till my final exams and this one is my present favourite and suits my body type.
Started with 58 kg 1 week back.
Now 56.5 kg
( I do this during my fasting period and yes have adopted clean eating.)
Target weight- 49 kg
Kevin you are awesome. I did your workout and gave you a shout out on one of my live streams.
Very Good workout. Continue the good work brother. This is my regular workout now. Plus with long distance running
I’m a 69 year old girl, That has a mission in life to look good forever. This HIIT workout is getting me there. Thanks!
I love it!!! Glad to help out in any way I can!
You are a blessing. I have been doing 60 mins flat. But switched to HII, suffering now😅
I also follow the heart beat on recovery, when comes down to ~120 I give it a 30 sec go again not recovery for 90 seconds.
That's for the honest feedback. I appreciate it!
Awesome workout , feeling seriously fitter after just one week !! Thank you Dr.Kevin .
You're so welcome! You should be burning fat fast with this workout!
Hey Melissa! Thanks for leaving this comment. It made me smile :)
Absolutely love tjos session done it quite a few times.
excellent Dr Kevin
Yessss treadmill!
Thanks for an amazing workout! The elliptical is a great tool for a beginner runner.
Awesome coming out of Covid and crushing this - hard work feels great again!
Thank you , I put this workout on a USB Stick and play it on my TV a few times each week. I feel invigorated after the workout and the encouragements are worth being mentioned. Thank you for being the kind and selfless person that you are. May God bless you and your household Dr. Kevin
This is a great way to use the cross trainer, great workout and fun too!
It really is Shona! Variety is key to any good workout routine!
Thank you, this is like having you right here pushing me
