If someone said they would give me any Ford I wanted, this would be it. Exactly as this one. The styling is simplistic but dignified. Not over chromed. Stance looks perfectly balance. This one is obviously exceptional and I'm sure sold long ago and is worth maybe $10,000 more now, than they paid for it then...?
Thanks for the comment on that 57 Ford Fairlane Gregory. It did sell right away. The good news is that we acquired another red and white Ford Fairlane...this time the 1958. We will try to get a video and get it uploaded if it doesn't sell first!
Update: We are Lucky, we just got ANOTHER Red/White '57 Ford Fairlane in and it is even better because it has power steering with the same high quality...fully restored. Watch for the video (if we get a chance before its sold) 5/9/22

I had my '57 Fairlane (292 v8) in college ('66) with tu tone of white over grey. great vehicle, could get down the road in a damn hurry.

I have a '57 Thunderbird which does have a padded dash. It was a new feature for 1957 on SOME Fords. My Dad' 1957 Custom did NOT have a padded dash.
