I stopped doing fast castle as Abba because it's just to all in. Sometimes you win but if your opponent also just rushes castle, I feel like I have accomplished nothing and will eventually die because of my inferior Eco.
I think the whole series has reached another level of interesting ever since there are more and more match ups from both sides. Just seeing Abba vs HRE for example, feels like Abba has some advantage. Now seeing the other match up shows what separates the good HRE/Abba players from the great. In both cases, who ever goes for the long game with more TCs wins. But you need fight hard to survive. Also Trebuchets seems to be the difference. In your Abba game, you quickly realized that there is no point in pressing further against the turrets with rams, because they are too strong. And that's where the Abba player in this game lost, IMO.
