Generally I think the video that's online still gives a good base for the settings you could be using. You will see that a majority of the pro's will use those from the video or similar. ^Sander
Would be neat to see speed switches with lower total travel like 3mm and better stabilization housing for keycaps and less stem wobble. Some switches brands offer things like this, but not really all in one from what I've seen. Also TKL version would be nice.
What if you release your key by 0.15mm from 4mm and your activate lenght is higher than 0.15, will it activate when it hit the maximum, or is it doomed to wait for you to press more?
Good question. I think it won’t activate as it no longer depeneds on key activation. It now depends on rapid trigger. Else, i will try it on my wooting…
Why is it that my keypress is registered beyond the Actuation Point? If my actuation point is set to 2.0mm, and I press the key down to 2.00mm and then let go of the key up to 1.7mm - the key is still registering as pressed down. Doesn't this go against the whole point of having a set actuation point?
If you purely want the deactivation, you could set the sensitivity to be separate and choose your desired range. Choose a high number for the upstroke, so that activation will take some travel but deactivation is almost instant. ^Sander
Are you going to do something about the people making cheaper exact replicas of your product that you're charging hundreds for? If you aren't, I don't feel incentivized to buy any further products from you guys. Customer service is great but not worth an extra $200. These cheaper keyboards have basically the same quality as yours.
wooting's software is by far the best and they still have one of the fastest accusation's. If you dont want to buy their product than dont buy. They still sell out all of their stock easily. It just sounds like you are trying to get a discount because you want a wooting lol.
@@coledorillo6685 it’s great but I don’t need great. I need usable. I tinker with it once and that’s about it. I’m willing to have a worse UI for a discount of $200.

Good to have a video on it
Thank you for the explanation.

i thought it was much simpler that this
Why did the Huano Lekker switches have the box stem, but the Gateron Lekker switches not?

I guess it should activate at maximum as there is no further to move
It activates at the maximum yes! :)

if you watch the video 4:04 they explain it because of continuous rapid trigger feature. Did you enabled it?
@ every other setting is turned off. Just talking about the behaviour of actuation points in isolation.
Am i missing something, how would I only enable rapid trigger for just deactivation of a key?
I can further explain if my message isn't clear 👍

The backrooms be the coziest place I've ever been. 🥰 Just moved to Japan so I had nothing in my appartment yet. 😂

What would they do though. Also Wooting has better performace than all HE boards except for one, that just came out.
