    I dont find that Geni plus is confusing . I resent the fact that I now have to pay MORE-money to ride the rides that I’ve already paid for in my with my ticket . Free fast passes will never again happen . But … never say never . Free dining is back . So we can still hope !

      Disney having a paid skip-the-line service actually just brought them in line with other amusement park operators like Six Flags, Cedar Fair, SeaWorld, Palace Entertainment, Universal and Herschend. It’s actually the cheapest of all of them.

    So glad you did this video today! We booked the MK After Hours Party for February 1 a couple of weeks ago, with plans to do AK during the day on that day. When booked, AK closed at 6pm and MK closed at 8pm. We were excited for MK cause we could arrive at the park at 7pm and enjoy the lower crowds starting around 9 or so (when lingering daytime guests would mostly be gone). I just checked, per your suggestion, and AK is now closing at 7pm and MK at 10pm on that day!! A bit of a bummer having 2 extra hours of possible After Hours lower park attendance taken away and losing an hour at AK (as we'll have to leave that park before closing now to get to MK in time). Glad we know this now instead of the day of!

      There’s currently no standby line, you need to either join the virtual queue (which is free) or pay for an Individual Lightning Lane (about $20, but you can pick the time you want to ride) - you can also do both of those in the same day if you want to ride twice. We’re closing in on our ADR time, and I’ve noticed at many locations you can’t book for parties larger than 4.
    Is this a change we’ve missed and is there any work around?
    We travel with whole family (so party of 7) and haven’t been in a couple years. Last trip we did quite a few meals with our group but now when I search for 7 (or even 5) I don’t see any for meals like the character breakfasts at Akershus or Cape May Cafe, but when I drop our party to 4 there’s a bunch of availability.

    • @DFBGuide
      @DFBGuide  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Some restaurants have more tables that are able to accommodate larger groups and some only have a few that may get booked up quickly. Here are some of our favorites for bigger groups, they tend to have a better table set up to fit in more large groups www.disneyfoodblog.com/2022/06/01/the-6-best-disney-restaurants-for-large-groups/

    • @NMannillo
      @NMannillo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@DFBGuide That’s super helpful.
      It’s still weird that a restaurant like Akershus, which is the same characters for breakfast and dinner, will take a part of 7 for dinner but only 4 or less for breakfast. And we had a part of 7 for Cinderella’s Royal Table back in 2019, and now that’s not option.
      I assume they have their reasons, maybe it’s just left over Covid practices, but it is a little frustrating to be limited to just 4 people.

  • @DragonTigerGateMerchant
    @DragonTigerGateMerchant 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    Small correction, I asked Disney support about buying a single park hopper ticket because when we are going animal kingdom closes 3 hours before the others and they said you can buy one less day worth of tickets and then buy a single park hopper ticket for the day you want. I didn’t choose to do that but just wanted to let it be known.

    • @hollyharakaly1898
      @hollyharakaly1898 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It has always been possible, but there is no upside to doing it so therefore no one really talks about it. The cost of adding a hopper to a one day ticket is only $10-20 dollars cheaper than adding it to a multi-day ticket. Dropping a day from a multi-day ticket won’t save you enough to recoup the cost of a single day base ticket.

      We did that timeframe last year and Valentine’s Day wasn’t bad, but there was a huge crowd surge for Presidents Day, so you will most likely experience crowds from the 16th-19th and then it should settle down for the rest of the week. We went to Magic Kingdom on the Friday before Presidents Day and it was like a peak season summer day!
