Malaysia seems one of the most if not the most developed SE Asian country! Some things I didn't know about Malaysia before and was surprised by these things. Also it's interesting that Russian and Malay languages are so different, but probably have similar sounds. Even some words are the same like SUKA (but have totally different meaning in both languages haha). Watch the timecodes!
The only similar same Russian-Malay word is "нах" in Russian("nah" in Malay) which means "here you go"...ie ., to give sthg..As for "suka", well I wouldn't go there sergey 😅😂😂😂
Hey Sergey.. just want to let u know that we as Malaysian really loves Russian.. and thanks for visiting our beautiful country of Malaysia.. Hopefully u will visit us again soon.. So much more to explore..
the traffic light thing haha. that road used to be two way road. When they restructure the road path they, DBKL, forgot to change to pedestal light. Perfect example of where officers working in office and never go to the ground ..you know.. But to make sure it turn to green, you have to push the button on the pole. Then the light should go to green.
You have to push the buttons for the pedestrian light to go green. It's the same in Australia. You can see the button at 4:26 near the left shoulder of the boy (on the pole).
Hi Sergey, a handsome man😊.. My nephew is still studying in Russia in the field of Medicine, showing that the relationship between Malaysia & Russia is still close with pure values. Hope more Russian Tourists come to Malaysia to get to know this country's 'Truly Asia' icon more closely. *** Don't forget to come again on the next year throughout March to enjoy the'Food Festival' at every evening in every places when Muslims celebrate the month of Ramadan to fast. You will enjoy a variety of food that you've never tasted at a cheap price and you don't worry to eat at that time, except the Muslims have to wait for breaking the fast at 7 pm..❤
Malaysia is the world's 9th largest producer of natural gas. Maybe it is cheaper than other countries. But welcome to Malaysia. I am local Malay, Muslim lady lives about 22 km from Kuala Lumpur. Glad to have you here. There are many many places you can explore in malaysia. Be careful when crossing the roads here. Some of the drivers are crazy too,Sergey..LOL
Hoped you had a great time during your limited time in Malaysia (considering you were sick for a while), and hope you'll return to discover much more (and there is much more to discover).
I think some of the Pedestrian lights are incorrect ... usually, we will not wait for the Pedestrian lights and check the car flow hahaha. Most Pedestrian Red Lights are correct because they consider two flows of traffic. When you cross the road, there is not only one direction but two directions. So, it will only turn Green when both of those Directions are Red Lights for cars. Sometimes, you notice people will cross half of the road first then wait at the center for the other flow to turn red.
Hi Sergey, I'm A Malaysian Malay In Kelantan State In Malaysia. Thanks For Liking Our Country, I Also Like Russia. Кстати, Если Вы Хотите Знать, Я Говорю По-Русский
Malaysia loves Russian products such as defence equipment such as the Mikoyan MiG 29, Sukhoi 30 and Malaysia used to import NADA NIVA cars which is good off road cars
@15:00 There is a simple explanation for having women only platform. It is where the coach will be stopping. If you wanna board the women only coach you wait there and not somewhere else. The train can be quite long in some cases and there's probably only one or two coaches reserved for women. You don't want to run up or down to the coaches when it arrived, yeah? It will be chaotic. It is a good system I would say Sergey.
*Malaysia has the 'Power of the Hand' when dealing with the road traffic. Forget the traffic light... !!! You shud ask the people around you to teach you how and bring the same back home to Russia and practise it.😂😂😂*
Early, not late. Before 1980s, peninsular timezone was GMT+7 (same as Thailand) but late one hour compared to Sabah. Then Mahathir changed to GMT+8 to standardize with Sabah, so now we're 1-hour early.
I know that there is one or more university in Russia that teaches Malay language. They even have a dedicated "Malay Language Department". Sorry I forget the name of the university.
Moscow University during USSR time. When they were focusing to changed Federation of Malaysia to something similar. Back during the cold war many KGB and GRU agents were planted in Malaysia. That is why languastic is important
In terms of Tourism, malaysia offers a different kind. we are not a metropolis, or a party capital, or "boom boom" capital, but we offer Culture, Tropical Nature, Food & a little modernism in the big city. but everywhere is Modern (Newyork-Paris-Tokyo, etc.), so that is not our focus. we showcase our multicultrural people, who have lived together for hundreds of years, as evidenced in our architecture & history. Hence why our tourism tagline is "Malaysia truly Asia". the best experience is with the locals, where we will bring you to eat outside and inside our family homes. you'd be surprised at the hospitality. when u find your "adopted" malaysian family, you dont need hotels. ❤
for the woman zone, its might be relate to religion or you could say we priority woman safety and they can have privacy. im actually jealous and hoping that man also have their zone which woman cant enter. hahaha.
13:46 Well... if you want more affordable alcohol, maybe you should head over to Sarawak (or Sabah) for the rice wine and local beer brand 1602 (Sarawak).
Seems that Malaysia is a dangerous place for pedestrians! I agree with your take on time zones and hour changings. What do i care if it's day by 6 in the morning? if i have to wake up early, i will get up anyway, what i want is to be doing something outside in the afternoon and to have sunlight till late. Gas prices are the same as here 25 years ago!!!
@4:16 Jaywalking is hard to control. You break the rule if you crossed the road at the red-light but enforcement is almost non-existent in that regards. Also people hate to wait that long for the green light in the middle of the scorching sun unlike the cool weather in Europe. The general rule is just be safe. Be a good samaritan wherever and whenever you can.
we know about Russia maybe because Russia is one of christian country who are nice toward Muslim. plus who doesnt know the biggest country in the world
