I bought an Alcohol Stove Burner dated 1908. Let's restore it, better yet, get it working again!

I have a few camping stoves and lamps that run on kerosene and other flammable liquids so I love this kind of thing 😄 keep it up mate 👍

Amongst other antique stoves and lanterns and such, i have a Coleman Model 1 camp stove from 1922, back when i got it, i did get it working. This week i did buy a Caboose Stove for our House Truck/Gypsy Wagon project.
      Happy collecting.

Very nice! I have an alcohol lamp with a wick. Not sure how to use it. Also have an Aladdin lamp.

If it has a wick, i dont think it is alcohol. We have a substantial collection of lamps, lanterns, and Aladdin Lamps. We have not counted our collection. Combined is likely over 200. Its an addiction! LOL

I love it. If you decide to sell, let me know!

I had not thought about selling it, but if you really want it, make an offer.

If it were marine it would have likely fit into a gimble, possibly with a way to heat a pot above it.

I had a 30 fr Cris Craft and it had an electric stove with alcohol bueners on the inside of the electric coils. They lifted out to fill and clean, like you described

Get it working again? Isn't that the goal with a restoration?
