Even comes to respect them, all while STILL being willing to make the calls others are unable to.
Now she just sits around toying with lives, and doing anything she can to protect hers alone. She's also involved with every hero, making her come up so often. She sucks
The material itself isnt toxic, its the microscoptic fibers of the material thats deadly. I beat most people here dont realize majority if not all schools u were in had ceiling tiles and floor tiles made of the stuff. It only causes health issues if exposed to the microscopic fibers as they damage ur lungs and affect ur breathing which eventually becomes cancerous over time if continually exposed to them, using a special fiber significally lowers the chance but its a perfect stop gap as the filters can fail over time too
And yes i know this cause one of my training courses for my job in working at the school districts is to learn about asbestos. It is basically a damn good fire proof material, microscopic fibers health issues aside
Heatwave is just an interesting character First you see him being the random, crazy pyromaniac trying to out Flash down and then you get either a human side, a redeemed side or just a cooperating side that makes him look even better than a villain. Like dude using the examples from the DCAU and Arrowverse. He was jsut another crook and villain that ended helping lots of heroes, redeeming himself to become a better person Flash villains are all interesting tbh
I like when you say “The Flash always looks for the good in people” it doesn’t matter which one you’re talking about. Also, I enjoy that Amanda Waller legit feels worse than Lex Luthor or even the Joker. Like first person the JL should kill, with no remorse, should be Waller.
The Flash is one hero I always hate to see turn evil. They're supposed to always be the moral compass of the justice league. If Jay, Barry, Wally, Bart, Jey,Irey or anyone says "uhhh" then we should all be like..."UHHHHH"
The suit and character were made a while before the true dangers of asbestos was widely known. Back then, to both the readers and the characters within the comic, it was just a suit made from a material that would serve him well. Afterwards, however.....
Wally is the purest hero. Everything he does is to help people, even his rogues. I loved the episode of The Justice League where it shows that Flash only acts like a goof but deep down, he is a kindhearted soul who truly cares.
also like... what could the flash do? Can the flash cure cancer? If so like, holy heck I didn't know that was one of his feats. Or does flash mean like... paying for medical treatment? What does helping mean? Also like, hype for heatwave that some unrelated deal with Dr. Fate cured his cancer. Hard to blame the guy for taking a job when it comes with those kinda benefits
At this point, I'm just waiting for all the criminals she's stomped on to just team up and take her out already. Bonus points if the Justice League catches wind of it and just go "not our problem" because they know Waller's more trouble alive than dead. Maybe that wasn't the case some time ago, but by now she just doesn't seem to care whether or not anything she does is "good" to anyone but herself and her own interests
This is really frustratingly sad. A flash or Batman are probably the 2 most heroes that can help villains back to society. And most of flash villains are mostly healthier versions of Batman rogues. So Waller keeping them separated is just so AAAAAAHHHHH.
This is why Flash is such a good character (and my second favorite DC hero behind Batman (Batman the animated series is peak Batman)) when your fast enough to basically do all the superheroing you need to do in like under a minute. You have time to actually understand why people are doing.
I love the contrast between the flash and batman. The flash always looks for the good in people whereas batman always looks for the bad. The reason i love this contrast so much is because the scenarios play out realistically for both of them. And they both have proper consequences for the way they do things. Flash is able to connect to the human side of his villains and often soften or prevent conflicts that arise. Whereas with batman Hes ready for when conflicts arise before they happen. This gives him a great advantage when a persons good side fails them. I know that superman and batman are the iconic pair but i wouldn't mind seeing more stories with batman and flash. Not to say there arent any but more would definitely be welcome
@@antoniofinotti8877 I'd actually disagree to some extent, Batman is known for his not Killing Rule and one of the main reasons for it is his faith in people. He often tries to reabilitate his villains and succeeded with Cassandra Cane, Harley and many others. So I do believe he tries to see good in people.
i feel like waller is so hated because she represents corrupt authorities, people that are supposedly on your side but not really, atleast someone like joker you know exactly what they about.
the fact that everyone unanimously hates Waller just shows how well they wrote her corruption, it’s really impressive to make an entire community think one way about anything, let alone a human being
No. It's because she's just a horribly written character. I have zero problems with a super corrupt character, so long as they're written RIGHT, like Waller was in JLU, but here she's just pointless. Literally NOTHING about her adds anything of worth to the story. You could literally take her out of the comics completely, throw in pretty much ANY character in her place, and STILL have a better story. THAT is why she's so hated. Has nothing to do with her corruption.
Damn im early for once. Just wanted to say great job, love the content man! you always have interesting comic stories to share and i love seeing em. great editing as well, ik how annoying editing can be sometimes, so great job on all the hard work!

Do not ever compare Fury to Waller. Man at least has a heart enough to care about something and tries to find options with the least minimal sacrifices required.
I knew it! Flash did try and cure the cancer and have an answer for the problem. But someone else borked his efforts. I would feel so betrayed if the flash just. Did not try, or he forgot.
I'd pay to have her written well again. She's supposed to be a hardass patriot who makes the tough calls others can't & will get her hands dirty for the sake of her country regardless of who that puts her at odds with. Not a cruel villain who just serves to make people miserable
The understanding hero should be. Understandable! The hero for the peaple! you tell him your problems and he will understand it Very WELL!! Look out once unsupervised children that are now criminals, he will get your problems!!! Understandable! we went for a lot of problems, but he will absorve it all! and since he is imortal he will be alright.
50:30 I have no idea if you got the answers to these questions, but essentially yes. They steal your useful memories, (like how to drive a vehicle, military tactics, use Guns, fly spaceships) and throw away whatever isn't of strategic value. Most hosts die within seconds, and at the same time their mind feels immense excruciating pain for a prolonged period, as the flood sorts through their memories and thoughts. But in one of the Halo novels, Wallace Jenkins, the marine who we see the helmet cam footage, is partially infected, his mind is alive and aware of what's happening to his body and what's around him, but the parasite has complete control over his body. He even had a few moments where he managed to regain control of his body just long enough to walk up to a cliff edge to un-alive himself, but the parasite wrenches control away from him before he can go through with it. Yeah the books have some messed up stuff in them, but they're definitely well written IMO.
Wearing an asbestos suit shouldn't give you mesothelioma, those things are sealed up tight, then again if you get into a fight and the suit gets damaged, the fibres could get aerosolized, by something like someone punching them a hundred times per second.
Maybe it exists idk, but i want someone who just hates Waller because they got screwed over by her and decided to make her pay by killing her. If it's a short comic or something that's fine, I'm just so sick of her 💀💀💀
Marvel has a Villain from war era called Aespestos Woman who was basically an ad for all the wonderful fire resistant properties of Aespestos. You can guess what happened to her when she came up again in comics decades later
Continuously the stupidest parts of comics is not killing your enemies, and not overthrowing the government. Imagine having superpowers and just letting Waller run amok because shes a government agent.
Waller is more of a villain than most, and I'm honestly amazed it hasn't come to a head yet. Like, waller using all of batman's contengincies to take down the league or try to take over via bomb collars, etc. She wants control, and most heroes are out of her control.
Waller is a background character that should have been forgotten, or killed off back in the 90s. She never adds anything unique or interesting to any story and is often serves little assistance to the heroes she is supposed to be helping, actually becoming more of an obstruction than an ally.

Wait! Belle Reve Penitentiary is in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana?! I was born and raised there. I knew it was in Louisiana but I thought it was in a unnamed part of it. The lower you go in Terrebonne, you start getting into more estuaries and then it's pretty much a straight shot into the gulf. I'd guess it's somewhere near Chauvin or Dulac. Hell, it could be out in the swamp near where the intracoastal and the atchafalaya meet. I think Cocodrie is a little to close to the gulf. But by the end of it all she learns to work WITH the heroes. Even comes to respect them, all while STILL being willing to make the calls others are unable to.
Now she just sits around toying with lives, and doing anything she can to protect hers alone. She's also involved with every hero, making her come up so often. She sucks
The only good thing she did was give us future batman, and even then most of the work was done by assassin who did not kill his parent'...
OR - They could just write her better.
@@Yibambe. As enticing of an idea as that sounds, I highly doubt that'll ever happen

Wally: maybe you wouldn’t have cancer if you didn’t wear a suit made of asbestos. For gods sake find a non toxic material for your suit
There have to be at least like 5 different materials you could use.
I think this storyline’s based a bit off Asbestos Man in Marvel comics
@@clickpause8732asbestos lady but also they both were created before the dangers of asbestos was known
"The hero of understanding" I like it
I love how a lot of the Flash's mistakes and downfalls come down to him not being fast enough 😔
Its sad that flash is the fastest, but always ends up late
Heatwave is just an interesting character
First you see him being the random, crazy pyromaniac trying to out Flash down and then you get either a human side, a redeemed side or just a cooperating side that makes him look even better than a villain.
Like dude using the examples from the DCAU and Arrowverse. He was jsut another crook and villain that ended helping lots of heroes, redeeming himself to become a better person
Flash villains are all interesting tbh
Loved Heatwave in Legends of Tomorrow
Amanda Waller is such a kind soul. An equal opportunity employer who hires people despite their medical history. God bless
I can't take any of this serious when I hear the villain made a super suit out of asbestos.
"Shit. Says you only got 1 Int"
The suit and character were made a while before the true dangers of asbestos was widely known. Back then, to both the readers and the characters within the comic, it was just a suit made from a material that would serve him well. Afterwards, however.....
@@whichDude There were multiple asbestos-themed villains in the past because people didn't know it caused cancer
He could probably phase into heatwaves body and eradicate it by hand
shakes him so fast the cancer falls out his atoms💀

There’s needs to be a rly good story where Amanda gets exaclty what’s coming too her
In one story she's killed by the joker
There needs to be a rly good story where she's written well. Like she was in JLU
I mention this before, but at least with Invincible, Cecil is Amanda Waller but done right with actual empathy
I love Cecil but that's really fucking boring. Nobody wants to watch Amanda shed a tear anytime she does a naughty
Waller is the reason sometimes flash had one of those moments where he reverse flashes someone.
Hearing you talk about the "60fps vs 30fps" is so refreshing, someone that actually has some sense on the subject!
Even with all the speed in the world, he wasn't fast enough. There's tragic comedy from that.
Waller always doing shit!
The flash is the Spider-Man of dc in terms of how he is treated how he acts and how his down to earth style story telling.
“I got cancer Flash”
“Damn bro lemme help you”
“How???”
“A little running helps anything”
The man can makes pants out of 'goes fast'. If you tell me he can cure cancer, I don't even question it
@@TheKyrix82
What do you mean by this? Make pants out of "goes fast"?!
@@baligong3592Speed Force. The DC equivalent of the Power Cosmic
Those goggles must not be very effective if his tears are coming down out of them.
Waller's a different kinda evil like damn XD
The people she does that too deserve worse
This is really frustratingly sad. A flash or Batman are probably the 2 most heroes that can help villains back to society. And most of flash villains are mostly healthier versions of Batman rogues. So Waller keeping them separated is just so AAAAAAHHHHH.
"A flash"? No, THE Flash...Wally West... the best and greatest Flash to have ever been a Scarlet Speedster.
This is why Flash is such a good character (and my second favorite DC hero behind Batman (Batman the animated series is peak Batman)) when your fast enough to basically do all the superheroing you need to do in like under a minute. You have time to actually understand why people are doing.
"as for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you" that's waller
This reminds me of Marvel's hit character, "Asbestos Lady"
Waller is so messed up that she made a deal with a demon to get out of hell cus she knew where she was going.
@@PedroOrdep-kv5vw you do have a point. Maybe "hope for the best. Prepare for the worst" is a better description then?
@@antoniofinotti8877 Yeah I'd say that fits Batman really well.

i feel like waller is so hated because she represents corrupt authorities, people that are supposedly on your side
but not really, atleast someone like joker you know exactly what they about.
the fact that everyone unanimously hates Waller just shows how well they wrote her corruption, it’s really impressive to make an entire community think one way about anything, let alone a human being
I don't hate her. That's y'all crying over a fictional character that pretty much serves her purpose 😂
Damn im early for once. Just wanted to say great job, love the content man! you always have interesting comic stories to share and i love seeing em. great editing as well, ik how annoying editing can be sometimes, so great job on all the hard work!
Hey dude! Thank you so much for your comment. If it weren’t for people like you, I wouldn’t be able to grind to make this my full time gig. I appreciate you so much and thank you!
Hey, the important question thing is Mick is cancer free. Good for you, Mick
Jesus fuck, makin Nick Fury look like he just came outta Sunday School...
Do not ever compare Fury to Waller. Man at least has a heart enough to care about something and tries to find options with the least minimal sacrifices required.
He's never fast enough to save everyone
I knew it! Flash did try and cure the cancer and have an answer for the problem. But someone else borked his efforts. I would feel so betrayed if the flash just. Did not try, or he forgot.
I would love to see waller written out of DC comics in a gloriously retributive fashion. Hell id pay 1000$ for that issue and have it framed.
Same❤
I'd pay to have her written well again. She's supposed to be a hardass patriot who makes the tough calls others can't & will get her hands dirty for the sake of her country regardless of who that puts her at odds with. Not a cruel villain who just serves to make people miserable
The Flash is such a great guy!
Heatwave: Why didn't you help me?!
Flash: Bro, I didn't know where you were.
The understanding hero should be.
Understandable! The hero for the peaple!
you tell him your problems and he will understand it Very WELL!!
Look out once unsupervised children that are now criminals, he will get your problems!!!
Understandable! we went for a lot of problems, but he will absorve it all! and since he is imortal he will be alright.
past waller:*war crimes*
Present waller:*Busting it down*
Another reason why Waller is the devil incarnate.
Ironically that makes sense hopefully heatwave learns the truth
Even fastest man alive couldn’t get too him in time for waller too recruit him
Can we get more comics where waller gets some horrible slow gruesome death?
50:30
I have no idea if you got the answers to these questions, but essentially yes.
Fastest man alive yet always a second too late
When I see Waller, I think of the phrase “I can’t have SH** in this house!!”
Maybe it exists idk, but i want someone who just hates Waller because they got screwed over by her and decided to make her pay by killing her. If it's a short comic or something that's fine, I'm just so sick of her 💀💀💀
Waller becoming the new joker.
Imagine having superpowers and just letting Waller run amok because shes a government agent.
the real villain of the DCU that noone can truly stop amanda waller
god i would love to see this again, this is great
If he went to get him while Waller has him, she’d prob just execute him on the spot. 💀
All that anguish is where heatwave gets the impetus to write as Rebecca Silver
I swear, anytime i hear Waller, fucking up something,i always think of her like some sorta "Reverse Midas"...
Shes a rly good character in JLU & like, nowhere else.
Frankly (reference 🤯🤯🤯) this was awesome! Gives us another way to enjoy the fangame in video form that was fun to listen and watch as well! Props to NobyJr1 for the music, and thank you for always cooking fangames Frankfro!
Can be everywhere on Earth simultaneously.
Prisoner gets moved.
Guess I'll give up then
Waller is the perfect example of why people can't and should not blindly trust the government. Good character.
In short: Flash did try to help him, he just couldn't find him until Heatwave already lost the last threads of his sanity.
Oh you telling me the fastest man alive who can run around the world in a minute couldn't run around and find heatwave and take hik from Amanda?
Id like to see a comic where flash busts up everyone that mess with his villains, since flash always cares about his villains
It's pretty cool to see that the place I love and know so much about is enshrined in DC comics history.
Ah...a tale as old as time. The fastest man alive...couldn't make it in time.
Flash, too slow to save him.
The flash, fastest man alive but never quick to judge
"there's a reason wally west didn't help heatwave..." "he did"
Amanda waller is such a good metaphor for America
Problem is prebuilt systems which will not be easy to recall. Not sure if mobility series are affected which will put serious questions by vendors on Intel.
Steve, did your leads say, they had WHEA aka windows hardware error log in hwinfo sensor info tagged as "core group reported slow CPU frequency"
Forget Luthor or Joker, Waller will be the one who finally gets the heroes to snap
They should update this with PFAS as it lines the gear firefighters wear and is absorbed into the skin at high temperatures. Skin cancer is high among firefighters for this reason
Waller is such a great character cuz there's very little characters in DC that piss me off like she does lol.
I'd love for a comic run where Darkseid makes Waller one of his Lieutenants, with her parademon tf & death showing us a world without her not necessarily being a bad thing...
Amanda Waller. A perfect example why you should fear the words "I'm from the government, I'm here to help."
Flash iis possible THE hero who cares the most about his villains.
