STRANGE BUT TRUE: Baba Raghu Guards the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Building, Jammu.

Mubarak Mandi; The oldest building complex dates back to 1824. The palace was declared a heritage site by the erstwhile state government.
Its architecture is a mix of Rajasthani architecture and European baroque and Mughal styles. Palace was the royal residence of the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir from the Dogra dynasty from the year 1846.
It is believed that after the marriage of the then ruler, Pratab Singh; Baba Ragu guarded the Mubarak Mandi palace.
It is said that Baba Raghu came alongwith the Wife of Pratab Singh, Maharani Chadki.
It is believed that Baba Raghu spiritually guards the palace and does his duty even after the death of Maharaja Pratab Singh and his wife Maharani Chadki,”

From these majestic buildings , prior to1947 , a massive empire was administered . An Empire stretching from Lakhanpur in the South to Shaksgam Valley in the North - From Mirpur - Muzaffarabad in the West to Aksai Chin in the East.
Despite acceding to India every inch of his kingdom what has been done to Maharaja Hari Singh's glorious boundaries .
