my recent visit from Rajsthan one thing i can share we must learn from rajsthan how to respect love care and even earn from our ROYAL HERITAGE......as our govt is incapable!
Mr. Charak, please read my comment and see if you can trace Prof Hira Charak of your clan. It would be such a pleasure to meet- even online- my late sister's best friend in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Appreciated! Brother. Beautiful video, i live near to this place but never knew about this. Great initiative it is, would love to see more of such videos, Kudos to you.
This video takes me back by some 60 years. A scion of the Charak family, Professor Hira Charak, was a colleague of my sister in Mira College, Udaipur, Rajasthan. She was invariably addressed as Miss Charak ( consonant with the name of the famous saint associated with Ayurved). She had got used to this mispronunciation , so when my sister pronounced her name as it should be, she was taken aback. The next question surprised her even more : " Any relation of Rani Charki?" Thereafter the two became intimate friends. Prof Charak had an extremely attractive personality : she was a real Dogra Rajpoot beauty. If alive, she should be in the proximity of 90 now. Can anyone here locate her, please? I am watching all videos about Jammu with deep inyerest . The Dogras are fast losing the purity of their mother tongue. The silent incursions of Punjabi should worry old purists among them. The two persons we meet in this video should be praised for speaking the language the way my parents spoke. God bless them.

You're right bro. Rajasthan has saved their heritage and kept it alive.I have visited Jaipur & Udaipur way back in 2003.
