If you use the throttle and brake while in the air you can control it much better. Makes for softer and smoother landings. Just thought I would put it out there for ya. Lol. Cool video.
That guy at the hobby store you went to does not know what he’s talking about, do NOT charge and let them sit and don’t charge when not around them. They can start a fire in a second! Xmaxx is our favorite and is a better basher but the Rey looks fun!

Now you both need the DJI FPV HD goggles and camera set up and you can both see like your inside the truck. Gives you a whole new dimension of speed and experience.
Problem is when you’re already full throttle. What you do is let off a bit on the face of the jump. This not only allows you to have throttle left to bring the nose up, but when you let off it loads the front suspension, so when you get back on the throttle at lip of jump, the suspension will help pop it up.
Fiberglass mesh tape for taping drywall. The kind that is kinda tacky on one end then rub the shoe goo throughly into the mesh tape on the inside of the body.u can double it up too in the more prone to break and crack areas of the body.
GoPro+Phone=POV Racing + Footage on the trucks. Mount the Phone on the radio. I watched this and was like YAAAAS I need one of these, then I remembered 1k for batteries and ryno never said ANYTHING about the price of the truck itself LOL.

If you want to keep them somewhat clean/maintained I recommend using foaming simple green. Spray it on your RC after using (except electronics) then use an air compressor to clean off. Again, only if you care enough lol

I see it now, here within a couple months there will be a "Pimp my RC" episode where you put in billet long arm suspension and upgraded adjustable valving shocks and new tires and different motors and spray the body with boat flake and... Those things have ALWAYS been massive money pits. I miss the cool old gas baja bugs from back in the day. (honestly long before my time)
these baja reys were super awesome they handled super nice I am gonna have to add one to the collection. Probably smoothest RC out of the box that I've driven. Love me them Losi's
When it is in the air, gun the throttle. The rotation of the tires should bring the front end up in the air. To bring the front down, either let off the gas, or hit the brakes.
Losi is definitely a good choice of RC... They're killing it at the moment... Arrma are made of cheese, Traxxas are made by cheese, they're strong but you'll be missing screws or come with rounded bolts... Only trouble with Losi stuff is availabikity of parts.
As much as you like to upgrade and modify literally everything you have, I have a feeling you are about to get crazy with these. Because every stock part of those trucks has a bigger, stronger, faster, cooler replacement part. Check out the Xmaxx trucks.
AHHHH 6:18, Make sure you unplug the battery from the charger via the plug on the battery, and not unplugging the adapter that goes into the charger. Those connectors touch each other or metal and you could short out the batteries/cause a fire etc.
XMAXX will chew that soil up! I've used both Kraton and XMAXX, the Kraton is more stable but not as tough out of the box, but XMAXX is smiles for miles! I will do some more videos on the XMAXX, but Kevin Talbot has done a... few 🤔check those. Nice video, thanks for taking us with you!
Good purchase. I would of went with the Losi DBXL-E 2.0 instead. But for what you guys were doing I think you would of been a lot happier with a arrma kraton or a traxxas X-Maxx. At least the Kraton and Xmaxx you could put a massive Castle Mamba XLX2 ESC along side a 1100KV Motor! OR buy a Losi 5ive and convert it to electric dual motor 16+ S 😂

Some evidence by a temp gun to watch temps on the rc motor and please don't leave batteries charged or charging when not around.ive had it happen to me a brand new battery catch fire scary and store in cool place .I have 30 rc's and so much fun .keep up great work.
All of mine are 10th scale because the only track is 1/10 and not a lot of open area to rip around like that. But I’m tall grass and open areas they aren’t big enough

Huh he just advised him to put a storage charge on them if they're going to sit for more than a month, which is correct advice.

Ive left my lipos full charged for 5 years and never had an issue. Had my first lipo pop 3 days ago. I had roughly 225-250 packs through it.
Jumps can be controlled mid-air. Throttle to bring front-end up and brake to bring front end down. Is a blast once you master it.

You can adjust the truck in the air with the rear end . Slow the tires down to leave it out

I never put my lipos in storage and you NEVER leave charging batteries unsupervised!
