    I hated when they removed 12 car services

      there are still some 12-car trains

      Most services on the Main Line should use 12 cars, especially in morning and evening rush hour, due to high capacity of customers on a daily basis, especially when entering and leaving Grand Central Madison

      @@FanRailer Yeah they changed the schedule started this week but when they first changed the schedule it was 8 and 10 cars, then commuters complained about it. So they were forced to put back 12 car services

      Yeah I think the M3’s and M1’s still use 12 cars

    I've been noticing that they use the M9s more on rush hour..

      Which in my opinion make no sense. The LIRR should be using the all 100 M3's that is left for Penn rush hour service, so they do not have to make 8 car M7 & M9 train sets to boost up service, and to accommodate GCM.

      Those double deckers are used in LIRR's diesel lines.
