LIRR HD 60fps: Two Hours of Main Line Action @ Forest Hills During Evening Rush Hour (3/9/17)

Shot between 4:20 PM and 6:20 PM to the backdrop of a clear sky sunset and several planes on landing approach to La Guardia (Boeing 737s of United and Southwest). Considering one out of the two hours is recorded, that should tell you how busy the rush hours are on the LIRR mainline. Over the course of the hour, we see just about everything: M3s, M7s, & DM30AC / DE30AC + C3 Bilevels, 4-way train meets, trains racing each other, etc. There's even a friendly train crew (engineer teacher and student trainee) who quipped to me "So I guess we're gonna be on TH-cam today?" (off camera; though I wish I had recorded that part of our exchange). Enjoy =)

The M8s are exclusive to the New Haven Line.

FanRailer - wouldn't you say this was the #1 stretch for sheer volume in the area/country? MN around 125 st isn't bad, and for variety, the NEC around Secaucus is fun, too.
